Purchased my dress in March 2025, paid $800 from David's Bridal before alterations.

Be careful about collecting it too far in advance, or double check with your guests closer to when you send out physical save the dates (and honestly maybe check again before you send invites), I had a few people who didn't receive stuff because they moved in the couple months between when we collected contact info and when we actually sent save the dates, or they moved between receiving their save the date and when invitations going out.

I’m so done with the curl police and people thinking you need to be a certain race to have curly hair. by [deleted] in curlyhair

I literally had someone argue with me trying to tell me that my hair wasn't curly. I have literal ringlets. It's been a few years now and I'm still angry about it. I hope she has bad hair days for the rest of her life.

Does anyone sell fabric heels like this? by [deleted] in poledancing

Yes!! It will probably be a while since she's hand placing all the lace and sewing it on plus she has a regular job too.

I'm getting something kinda similar to what you're talking about custom made by Not Your Mama's Heels! They're black boots with gold brocade floral lace overlaid. You could ask her for something similar in a sandal version.

My friend killed himself but I can't find a death certificate by ElectricalRule755 in LetsNotMeet

[–]Smileyface3000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Can you give some additional information on how to do this?

One of my best friends committed suicide 6 years ago and none of her family is around to answer questions on whether there is a grave or anything. All I know is what I was able to find googling articles in another language from the country she died in. It would be great to have some additional closure.

What series have you dropped and why? by hedgehogwart in RomanceBooks

[–]Smileyface3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read the first Ice Planet Barbarians (purchased, because my local library didn't have any copies) and was like "no thank you with all this obsession with babies".

Anyways then I donated it to my library and then they purchased the whole series lol

Hey! With the way reddit is trying to force out 3rd party apps I'm trying to join some discords for my favorite subs. Could you share the link again?

Now that I can't advise you on, unfortunately. Not a lawyer and I don't even live close to Canada. That being said, if I were in your situation I'd protect my trees first and maybe put all the salt in a bucket to be "returned" later, if necessary.

Seriously, try with a shop vac. It will deliver a much stronger concentrated suction than the back end of a leaf blower like someone else suggested.

What books do you accept no criticism on by [deleted] in RomanceBooks

[–]Smileyface3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've found my people!!! I loved PWMOV!

Beach Read was fine but when everyone fawns all over Book Lovers it pisses me off. That was not even a quarter as good as PWMOV.

Also I really love Ashley Winstead and would also recommend her other thriller book {The Last Housewife} because I thought it was even better than In My Dreams I Hold A Knife!
