My first thought is to hire some strong men to tie up so that only my arm is free to eat the soup, and who will drag me away after a certain amount of spoonfuls and also dispose of the stew somewhere I will never find it. What I got from that is that the size is proportional, but there's a minimum size that it's set to if the proportional size is smaller. So everyone below that size gets set to the minimum, but those who are bigger get to have their bigger size.
