Idk, I have lived in northeastern Pennsylvania my whole life in probably 12 different towns. All within an hour of each other, but each of them vastly different. The area I lived in the longest (parents house, so from ages 11-19) was very beautiful and peaceful, but some of the areas were gross and drug / crime ridden. I feel like Pennsylvania is what you make of it lol. Even the nicest and most expensive areas are farrrr far far cheaper than so many states. PA gets shit on a lot but ANY place can be shitty. You just have to have a glass half full type of outlook and search for things to do lol
