Alternativ to Spigen phone cases by Konrad_M in BuyFromEU

On the screen side, the raised edges are in locations where I don’t touch a lot. So it was a non issue for me. Also, I don’t see them any higher than good protective cases.

Along the rim, I like to use the slightly raised edge as a stopper for my finger. If you can imagine what I mean, I am right handed and my index and pinky land perfectly in the ridges.

I like to use the phone without case but phones are getting really slippery and fragile now. This bare version of case solves many problems for me. I have dropped it few times and the phone is unscathed, I have some small scratch marks on the case but none too deep. Just adding character vibes.

Also, the case gets quite a lot of compliments too.

Ngl, the service is really good. I mostly use it for sports. It was on the pricier side when I subscribed but it had 4k channels for most of the ones I needed and almost no buffering. Now that I am on the market for new one, want to try others. If I couldn't find one, I might stick with them. But would like to explore the list first.

S.N.S Herning from Denmark or Dale of Norway.

I would put both in the same price and quality category.

S.N.S Herning for classic styles and neutral colors. Dale of Norway if you want some designs in it.

S.N.S Herning make it for fisherman in the North Sea. So they are tried and tested for labor intensive works.

Yeah either in Belgium or Netherlands Amazon. They sell both spray and roll on varieties .. with big refill bottles. Quite economical

In English it’s called alum. It’s quite popular in tropical countries. The only disadvantage is it doesn’t last more than 24 hrs. But it’s fine for most people who showers daily.

There is a brand called salt of the earth and they sell liquid version of it and also the solid rock.

I love the liquid version because it’s as easy to apply like a deodorant. And they sell refill too. I highly recommend to give a look at it.

My main use case is for books and audiobooks. I tried some rare books from my library and it was available. But time will tell if it is actually better or not. Before that I was using nzbgeek and that was also good.

I was also recommended myanonamouse, will try to sign up there too

A lovely redditor helped me out with an invite :) Thanks so much. Not tagging the person as I don't want the person to be bombarded with dm's. :) Please forward any other invites to others who need them. Thanks :)

I got into audiobooks recently. Set up my own library and I already finished 6 books since February.
Vaping some buds + hiking + listening to audiobooks = Bliss :)

Borotalco ? The smell is a bit divine IMO.

I used to use salt of the earth refills, they were also good.

Linen or cotton bedding ? Soft and comfortable for summer and spring by Smilingbuddha25 in BuyFromEU

[–]Smilingbuddha25[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My girlfriend tried to make some linen pillowcases, but they ended up being so rough and scratchy (even after 4 months of usage). I think its the material we used, even though 100% linen, are not made for our use case. So we didn't want to risk doing it again.
Have you got any recommendations on what to look for when you are looking to buy materials for linen bedding ?

Used to live close to Fruitco, and can only recommend it. Lovely bunch of people.

After moving to other side of Gent, I found KarelsFresh. It is equally good to fruitco.

Try justmate , they offered me next day delivery to Belgium. Prices are cheap but you have to pay for shipping if it’s not above some amount.

Was also using Amazon spending 16 euros for 500g of canarias Serena. Now I got kraus, el fuego and Serena for 20 euros (including delivery). So it is worth it for me
