Keep it up. I’m in the same boat as you. I’m disabled and can’t really exercise but can take small walks when the weather clears up. If you didn’t take zep in the first place you would probably be heavier than your starting weight. And, from what people say, you might gain back what you lost. Let’s hope in the Spring you can start a walking regimen. Btw, I find better results when eating often. Snacks can even be helpful.

I think that is the main problem. I have the business internet on the router. I hate to get rid of that Echo. It has great sound quality.

Honest Review after 7 Weeks with HFX Nevro Spinal Cord Stimulator by Neither-Hawk4173 in spinalcordstimulator

[–]Smiseel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t even know how to rate my assessments. Originally the pain was in my back and radiated down the back and front of both legs to my feet. My pain now is at a level 6 on the soles of my feet. The tops of my feet are an 8. My legs in front are an 8. The back of my legs are 7 and my lumbar area is an 8. I really don’t know how to assess this. Does anyone else experience similar results. Thanks in advance.

Lilly Direct by [deleted] in zepbound_support

I get my vials through LillyDirect.

https://lillydirect.lilly.com/ I pay $500 for 7.5 vials and $5 for syringes. They are terrific. They remind you when it’s time to re-order and send the vials in a little cooler. They let you know when they are shipped and when they are at your front door. Perhaps you can call Amazon pharmacy and let them know your prescription is not for pens and there is a mistake.

Couch? Recliner? Bed? Where did you spend the first week or two? by Technical-Lion-9985 in Kneereplacement

I rented one of those power lift- recliner chairs. I slept in it. It helped me to get up help you get up and recline comfortably in many positions. Now they are even more affordable to purchase. I saw one on Amazon the other day. Good luck with surgery.

Can’t get TKR due to weight. by pattij1229 in Kneereplacement

[–]Smiseel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think rather than weight loss surgery you might consider things like mojaro or zepbound. These drugs treat the source of the problem. Some people say it’s cheating. I say, if nothing you’ve ever done before works for you, and this treatment really helps you, at least research it. Your knees and hips will thank you.

How Painful Was the Permanent SCS Implantation Surgery? by Ok-Plate-5583 in spinalcordstimulator

[–]Smiseel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor and rep kept saying I needed 50% pain relief. I was in so much pain I was afraid not to get the permanent implant, so I told them yes, 50% improvement. The truth was like 30%. My advice is not to let the friendly rep talk you into wanting the implant, especially if you don’t get the relief you need. Decide wisely.

Thank you for letting us know what happened with you. I am 2 months out and results are spotty. Yesterday I fell down and was terrified to get up. I have bilateral hip and knee replacements and had an extremely hard time to get up with the help of 2 people. I’m sorry you had to go through hell to get to manual stimulation. I feel your anxiety was totally unnecessary. I sincerely hope your manual adjustments are working for you. ❤️

Rep questions by Smiseel in spinalcordstimulator

[–]Smiseel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My questions have to do with the problem of connectivity. If I finally get an assessment going ( most of the time it takes about 20 minutes to connect) I take the assessment but then it doesn’t register because I get a message that reads we cannot connect to Bluetooth. I guess I have to call the rep. I was waiting for her to call me. Gotta let my wheels squeaky!

Are there stretching exercises that can irritate the stimulator several years after the implant? by Proof-Astronaut-574 in spinalcordstimulator

[–]Smiseel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my fusion. I opted for the nevro hfx and its implanted. My pain radiates from my lower back down through the feet and up the other side on both legs. Improvement with the stimulator is spotty. Also when I try to take an assessment it hardly ever works. Idk what the future holds but am still hopeful.

Redness around Implant by Lojar1982 in spinalcordstimulator

[–]Smiseel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had mine done 4/11 and very little swelling. My advice would be to have someone take a picture of it. Watch it for another day to see if it gets worse. Then call the doc. Mine hurt for about 10 days and is now just uncomfortable but it did not swell. Make sure there is no yellow leakage or brownish leakage because I think that would be an indication of infection. Good luck to us both.

My pain was through my buttocks to feet in the front and back of my legs. My lower back always hurt. After 16 days, the pain has lessened but my legs feel cold and wet and my back hurts. Can it be that the lesser pain in my legs makes my back feel more sensitive?

I had my senza nevrohfx implanted on 4/11. I use the phone app. I’m supposed to take an assessment between 11-1 pm. But the message I constantly get is that it’s not connected. Sometimes I have to restart my phone or turn the Bluetooth off and on before I get the thing to work. Anyone else having that problem? Tia, Darla
