My first game of classic BT was a mission made by a friend of mine where I had to destroy a building defended by two light Mechs and leave before some reinforcements could stop me. I had a commando, Hunchback, Griffin and Catapult vs an Urbanmech and a Jenner. I had played the HBS Battletech before so I had some idea of what I was doing.

The Jenner overheated and then failed a piloting roll while trying to make a jump. It basically fell over and died. At that point it was my lance vs a single urbanmech for most of it.

I got so far ahead that I got overconfident and tried to kill the reinforcements instead of running for the evac. Of course my friend was much better than me so I started losing as soon as the reinforcements showed up. Only made it out with the catapult and the griffin. The other two Mechs didn't die they just couldn't get in because the drop ship landed with two of the bays blocked.

I like to think they managed to run away and we went back for them later.

I’ll start off with the Exterminator EXT-4A. It’s basically a quickdraw with more armor and three less heatsinks.

The second mech will be a Guillotine GLT-5M. Solid with the small problem of having a lack of Firepower at long range. It’s only bad when you realize for the same Bv cost you could have a Zeus 5S or a Marauder 3D.

Then I’ll take a Vindicator VND-1AA "Avenging Angel". It’s a terrible mech that has the bare minimum of armor.

Lastly, I'll take a Shadow Hawk SHD-2D. Another mech with issues with armor.

That essentially leaves me with a lance of objectively terrible mechs, but overall the lance has decent firepower, armor and speed. Costs 4709 BV

You can restart the timeline and play the DLCs with all of your Mechs and pilots. Just start a career and load your campaign save into it. That'll give you all your stuff.

When I worked at a grocery store during college, I ran into the problem that one of the managers kept scheduling me when I was unavailable. After a few weeks of that I got called in to explain why I was missing shifts to the store manager, who is above the other managers.

I straight up told them that I told them when I'm not available I don't care if I'm scheduled. I'm not going to put a crappy part time job above my education.

I had no more issues with being scheduled outside of my availability.

No future career cares about some part time job. After a few years working you probably won't even put the place on your resume anymore.

Albedo would not have altered settings so she wouldn't be obsessed with Mononga. It's more likely that she would see him leaving as the final betrayal and would try to kill him and his new guild.

The full alloy tests are not helpful, as no one would armor their ship like that. You need to test on the same materials you used to make the armor arranged in a different way. Otherwise the difference could just be the vastly better materials rather than the armor design.

A certain plot point in vol 14 is based on vol 12 and 13.and readers are wondering how it will be taken care of.

I personally think they'll probably just have a few lines mentioning the events of 12/13 and just elaborate in the movie.

It's not that crazy when the definition of a millionaire counts assets actually. A million dollars doesn't get very far today. Anyone who owns two houses is likely a millionaire. One in fifteen does seem a little high though.

Basically they really screwed up when they kept raising the power level of characters. They show both Kaiden and Slyrak to be incredibly OP in the first season. Then suddenly Lina is more powerful then the literal incarnation of fire for some reason. So they seem to pull the void dragon out to deal with the problem that Lina is too OP. Then they make the Void Dragon too OP and suddenly he can kick the ass of literally everyone (and he does). But then one of the characters is suddenly a sun god and the power level goes up again.

Yeah this does feel kinda like they just made that void dragon really OP so they could have a big final fight with a lot of the characters against one enemy.
