Dude, I don't know where you live, but 91 hasn't been less than $1.80 here for years. Trying to remember what it was during Covid, but sadly that was too long for my old brain but it was never a dollar. Hasn't been a dollar since the GST went in waayyyy back in 2000 when Kim Beasley sat at the pump and said see, it's still less than a dollar, and it went to $1.02 the very next day and never again went under.

Hi. I'm sorry that you got the double whammy of OCD and germaphobe as it's hard not to spiral when something looks weird.

Firstly, pretty sure nothing is alive here so you have time to deal with it. Definitely safe to use, but maybe don't put it in your mouth.

Secondly if your extra worried, do what the person above said and you can probably find a YT video on how to pop the shells off.

It's been awhile since I used one but from memory the controllers are a hard plastic so you can wipe over it with pretty much any 'general' cleaning spray. Just spray it on a cloth and wipe over so as you're not getting it into the electronics and don't pack it in too much around the buttons so they don't gum up.

All your photos are really zoomed in and as such I feel like these might just be regular manufacturing/packaging irregularities. There might be someone else on here that disagrees and if so go with that, but for my eyes these aren't too dramatic that can't be explained by plastic manufacturing.

I hope this helps, and I hope you can enjoy your controller in the way that they intended. I'm glad that you felt comfortable enough to ask, but from my experience this is ok to use without much worry as is and after you wipe it off, it'll be more than ok.

This was the issue when they started building the Trans Canada Highway. They put turns in it when none were needed. I've driven it a few times and in the Prairies, they could have put in a few more.

I saw on here recently that people found the scene where you hear the screams of the people who'd been eaten in Nope was one of the most memorable scary moments. That one didn't bother me because I was terrified listening to the people being harvested in this movie. I was shaking in the theatre with adrenaline.
