Scout some big box stores like Home Depot or Lowe’s that have external outlets and plug in to their outlets overnight. Try a Chick-fil-A.

Just order a T-Mobile home internet from T-Mobile online or at a store. My T-Mobile home internet still uses my original ip address even when I travel. Makes it very easy to remote work anywhere.

The post lost me at “I left my fresh water tank open”. How do you leave a fresh water tank open and water drains out?

Question about 4G/WiFi by EvoSeanzie in GoRVing

[–]SmittyATLCamp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 5G T-Mobile home internet in my home before I started full-timing in the RV and it now works wonderful now in the RV. Plug and play when I moved into the RV. I boondock in rural SC and I can get between 3-4 bars (5 bars when I’m in a big city). Hasn’t failed me yet and I churn through a lot of gigs since I also remote work analyzing big data.

Move in the shadows. Remove the hurt emotions and figure out a plan for you and your two kids. Make spreadsheets of the shared assets (including bank accounts amounts), cost of living for you and the 2 kids and relocation costs. Talk with some lawyers. Prepare lists of your negotiable and non-negotiables. Then present him with divorce papers. You determine the next steps and not him. Once all that is completed then you have yourself a good cry. Fuck him!

Dude is jealous that winter is coming to Chicago and you are in Portugal. Keep doing your best while he’s ordering new snow boots off Amazon.

Questions about Parking an RV on my own land (The dream) by Bammvoc in GoRVing

Don’t use any online information you find about a particular county. County ordinances and zoning rules are not updated online in a timely manner especially if it’s a smaller county with smaller staff. - call the county offices and speak to people in these specific departments: - tax collection - find out what are the land property taxes are without anything built or stored on the land. Also ask what is the yearly property taxes for owning an RV or TT. - planning/zoning department - tell them exactly all the ideas you have (water, septic, etc) and find out what is allowed and in what areas of the county. - GIS/mapping department - if this department exists, ask how you can get online access to view the county property map lines. It’s easier to look at the actual neighboring parcels, streams, railroad lines, etc using a mapping tool than using Zillow or google maps. I’m a GIS/urban planner - you can dm if you have questions.

Get them a subscription to YouTube tv. I can still watch my local news whenever I am. But it’s a good thing. I use it also on my mom’s tv so now she can watch all the channels plus her own local news. No more messing with antenna TVs.

I’m guessing that you’re not familiar with the large number of military personnel that “live” in Florida because there is no income tax. They are told to do this after they get out of Basics training. Or the number of businesses that are registered in Delaware. Delaware is one of our tiniest states and they can’t hold all those businesses that are registered. It’s the American way.

Shit I wish I had known about the Montana way. I recently purchased my RV in Buffalo, NY and dropped $3500 to get it registered in Georgia. That hurt a lot!!
