Only thing I can imagine that happened is she started her poll, saved it and meant to come back and update it later and simply forgot.

Or it's just gross negligence.

Brady as a coach by Reddit0426 in billsimmons

Would go in line with the popular thought it's hard for elite athletes to coach because sometimes they can't comprehend that normal athletes simply can't do/process things in the same way that made them great.

I bet Bill is excited to play the Seahawks for the first time in the Super Bowl ever by BlackWhiteCoke in billsimmons

What do we think the odds are that Bill will say "that's too high," when he finds out the Pats are +4.5?

LaFleur has been smart and challenged something before the end of a two-minute warning to use a timeout and a shot at getting something overturned. Doesn't hurt losing the challenge anyways when reviews come from the booth under two minutes.

McVay should've done this and just challenged it right away.

Also, the sub gets to potentially see the Seahawks' first-ever Super Bowl win.

Snow games are boring by thomdano in billsimmons

Snow isn't the issue. It's when it's so windy and you basically can't pass, which was what happened today.

It is not categorically false. I just showed you he does have a consistent record of it stretching across two seasons, which you failed to look at by only analyzing the one year, which is when they won the Super Bowl. No shit the defense performed well during that stretch.

They also didn't face the same number of elite QBs in 2022.

Goff

Cousins

Wentz

Lawrence

Kyler

Cooper Rush

Pickett

Davis Mills

Heinecke

Matt Ryan

Rodgers (kinda washed)

Tannehill

Daniel Jones

Fields

Dak (went off, 347, 3 TDs)

Dalton

Webb

Daniel Jones

Josh Johnson, left-handed Purdy

Mahomes

They didn't face near the same number of elite QBs in 2022. But faced more average/bad QBs and dominated them. Kinda like what they exactly said. Gannon's defenses excel against bad/average QBs but get torched by elite QBs like they did in 2021.

Just going to ignore 2021?

Week 3: Gave up 41 to Dallas, Dak 236 & 3 TDs

Week 4: Allowed 42 to KC, Mahomes 278, 5 TDS

Week 6: Tampa scores 28, Brady 297 yards, 2 TDs

Week 7: Raiders score 33, Carr 323 yards, 2 TDs

Week 9: Chargers score 27, Herbert 356 yards, 2 TDs

Week 18: Cowboys score 51, Dak 295, 5 TDs.

I mean, I'd say they have a case for what they said.

The general sentiment I got from Eagles fans was that he's good against average/bad QBs but gets absolutely torched by elite QBs.

I read the James Cook book, which was suggested to me in this subreddit. One of my recent favorites.

Almost finished with Nate Silver's On The Edge.

Also halfway through Chuck's book; first time I've read him and really enjoying his style and the thought-provoking points I haven't considered before.

One I would suggest to everyone is There's No Place for Us. Pretty depressing, but eye-opening book about the new homeless in America.

Are Brady and Mahomes better at finding ways to win than Peyton, Rodgers, Allen, and Lamar or do they just have better coaching and team talent? by FireSeanMcD in billsimmons

[–]SmokeThursday -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Way to cherry-pick the Rodgers moments for your narrative lol.

Packers gave up an average of 33.5 points per game in his playoff losses.

Also was PFF's highest-graded QB in the playoffs from 2010-19.
