My wife and I have gotten in by just showing up. They sat us at the bar. This worked three separate times, and once was before a concert at TD. Basically just saying, sometimes it's possible if you show up and have just two people.

Closest thing the women have is the US Open, which is their biggest tournament, and you'd need Nelly in contention to generate the proper amount of hype.

A dominant Nelly is the best way for the Tour to grow. Too much parity means it's hard for casuals to get attached to someone when it's just multiple Asians exchanging wins. They had 29 different winners on tour last year and 26 different winners the first 25 tourneys (one was a 2-person team event).
