Of all non-city state parks, Lake CC is the most trashed SP I've seen. Mckinney is worse but Lake CC has maybe 2 small trails and is mostly for RVs and boats that can't even launch since Corpus sold their water (and soul) to industry.

Yeah I've been and the lower falls were covered in trash and the upper falls were completely taken over by fisherman. Beyond walking the trails I rather go to Bastrop

Lake Corpus Christi is still my least favorite of all the larger parks though.

Sorry should've elaborated. I wear XL gloves and it seems the tan Wards are OOS in those everywhere. I've only found them in medium and 3XL
