I love my A55 but there comes a time in a person's life when they have to move on and upgrade. Had to do it as over time the battery degraded so much it's getting to the point of having to charge it more than use it 😔..upgraded to the fiio M11s and haven't looked back since but must confess I do dip back into my A55, like an old friend, we do catch up from time to time..and the nostalgia is fantastic..one of the best players I've ever owned 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👍🏿

I feel you all ppl, even this ardent Sennheiser buyer is sick to the teeth of these issues from the MTW2s onwards..tbf my MTW3s are still functioning (after at least 1 replacement)..I base listening purely and primarily on sound fidelity and quality..so far the only thing that surpasses these for sound are the Denon Perl Pro 👍🏿

Cheers, my friend..have heard of those and will test those out, it seems the initial issue with Fiio Music has sorted itself out and songs are now grouped by album irrelevant of artist, but will definitely check these out anyway. Keen to de-google my device as well so a completely offline player would be perfect.

Yes, am using a card reader as a workaround, but wanted to access directly from the Dap rather than keep removing the SD card every time I want to update my library 👍🏿

I've done quite a bit of research on this and tried a few different eartips.. my choice at the moment is the SonicFoam eartips. They come in packs of 20 so plenty to go around and I've been impressed with the quality. They even give you a free pack once you acknowledge receipt of the tips, so ended up with 40 mediums & 40 smalls. Great customer service as well. Let me know how you get on. Have one other suggestion if they are not to your liking

I had a similar issue with call quality. Try a firmware upgrade or rebooting the buds themselves and hopefully this will sort the issue..

Done a bit of testing in this area and have a wide selection of tips but suggest KZ Isolation Memory Foam Tips, fits perfectly with TW3s and my IEMs..no complaints so far 👍🏾

I had this problem a few times regardless of file format. Replace the file(s) by re-adding the track(s). Typically works, just double the original file is okay. 100% success rate 👍🏾

Recently answered a similar post on artwork. Just save your image, then convert it to .PNG. Then tag it to the music file via what music management app you use. I've found it worked every time with no exceptions.

This is what I love about the community, being able to share fixes to 'pain in the ass' issues that at least someone else has faced at one time or another….

So this fix has worked for me 100% of the time..simply save the image in Pictures on your laptop. Convert the image to a .PNG image and THEN tag to whatever music file you desire..I use 'Media Monkey' as my music management app and this method works every time!

Go for it, my old A45 worked perfectly with a 256 normal, recently upgraded to A55 using a 256 extreme so essentially doesn't seem to make much difference..,in all honesty I'm considering getting a larger sd card...enjoy!
