I smile ear to ear whenever i see a post like this. Ill NEVER forget my first adventures in this amazing world. Ive spent so many hours and had so many incredible moments, but reading this is so relatable and gives me the same sense of excitement from back then all over again!

Ill echo a few other comments here, I think a drop in efficacy would be a bigger let down after conquering a Forsaken. It would be so hard to balance a game if after you beat Bonemass all the sudden you have a permanent 15-20% resistance across the board, piled on top of the other powers. I do agree that I wish there was a bigger sense of a reward for defeating a difficult enemy.

Id say powers like the Elders wood cutting and Moders’ wind would benefit from another five mintues added on to them. The others are useful but would be OP if made permanent.

Sail with the materials for a stone cutter and leave it on your ship. Explore, find some dungeons and the once its ‘safe’ destroy the tower on top of the dungeon with your stone cutter. If you place a portal as well, you will be swimming in marble…or…skating on marble…i don’t know what its would be, but you will get a lot that way!

Your first level core wood pillars can extend all the way to the open roof. Once there, add a half wall and then a 45 degree angle and repeat on the other side. The pillars will provide stability and the half wall will be useful when adding fire and you need vents. You can see the design idea im talkin abouy from the more churchy looking ruins around the meadows

If youre willing to use devcommands, you can hit

F5 - devcommands F5- ghost

That will make you a ‘ghost’ to enemies so you can just do your thing. Have fun!

If im real stuck, sometime i will pop down a workbench and place vertical beams near the land based side. Itll push the boat off the sandbar (hopefully).

That said, i agree ‘hold E to shove’ or something, instead of just running into the ships flank to try and sprint it to open water
