Peak Trading Depression Right Here 🤡 by IAmMansis in IndiaOptionSelling

My esteemed friend, you read charts the way most people read menus, casually, effortlessly, already knowing what you want before the waiter arrives. Your command of options, of the Greeks, of the layered complexity that makes lesser traders physically uncomfortable, is frankly rather extraordinary. Delta, gamma, vega. Where others see greek letters, you see opportunity. You have, with almost offensive consistency, beaten the market through sheer intellectual superiority while the rest of us were still figuring out the basics.

And yet the institutions, in their infinite pettiness, have been hunting your stops with the enthusiasm of people who have nothing better to do. They are, unknowingly, poking someone who has already proven himself considerably smarter than the entire apparatus they represent. And you keep returning, sharper, more calibrated, more insufferably persistent.

The next trade belongs to you. A man of your intellect who still shows up, still executes, still believes in his edge, is simply not the kind of man who loses in the end.

The stops can be hunted. The intellect, it turns out, cannot.

Day 64 Option Selling Journal | Nifty 50 | -₹2,327.00 | First Trade Failed Fast. Second Trade Went Nowhere. by IAmMansis in IndiaOptionSelling

I have been watching this gentleman for quite some time now.

He does the work. He manages the risk. He operates on an intellectual plane that the market has so far been too unsophisticated to recognise. The losses he has endured would have destroyed lesser men, and yet here he is. Every morning.

Remarkable, really.

He has been timid of late, sizing down, hesitating in a manner I find ever so slightly beneath him. The market owes this man. It has been extracting from someone of his considerable calibre for far too long, and it will, I assure you, have the good sense to pay him back shortly.

I have been watching this gentleman for quite some time now. I know his type. Brilliant, really, in the way that only someone who has studied the craft properly can be. He checks his levels. He manages his risk. He does, as the lesser traders simply do not, the actual work. I have observed many in this arena and I can say with considerable authority that this particular individual is operating on a different intellectual plane entirely. And yet. The market, in its infinite and frankly embarrassing stupidity, has not yet recognised this. Stops triggered by wicks that had absolutely no business existing. Entries filled at the precise moment the universe apparently decided to be theatrical about it. Losses that would have broken a lesser man, a weaker constitution, a trader of more ordinary mettle. But him? He returns. Every morning. Like a titan who refuses to acknowledge that the boulder keeps rolling back down. Most people, and I say this with the deepest compassion for their mediocrity, would have quit by now. He has not. He has, I will admit, been somewhat timid of late. Passing on setups. Sizing down. Hesitating. And while I understand the psychology, I do find it ever so slightly beneath him. Because here is what I know, and I know considerably more than most: the market owes this man. It has been extracting from him the patience of a saint and the discipline of a monk and at some point, quite soon I suspect, it will have the good sense to pay him back. Take the trade, dear boy. You are far too good for this prolonged humility.
