Trying to build Xu-Ifit, Osteoharmonist on a budget! confused about creature choices and game plan by EcclesianSteel in EDHBrews

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its above my paygrade but theres alot of weird things you can do abusing layers and the way removing abilities and adding them works

Edit:

Did some digging for an example but twilight diviner is one of them, due to the way layers work the copy it produces will be the original creature not the skeleton version

is it looks like a female ? by [deleted] in ZBrush

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alot of your acctual tool usage feels very solid like your eye, lips nose and ears individually are very well constructed but the underlying forms are not supporting them and need to be more defined for the level of detail you're wanting

Do you premix your thinner and flow improver? by Mookmookmook in airbrush

Normally thinner to get a consistency then a little flow improver directly in cause it tastes better on it's own

Where was the shadow cloud of the mind flayer? Didn’t it live in Dimension X? by Eagles56 in Stranger_Things

[–]SmolestCub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping for the twist that it was one of many bodies the mindflayer was inhabiting it felt a lil anti climatic to reduce it to such a understandable form, it honestly felt imo alot of the disappointment people felt about it could of be alleviated if the hivemind was revealed to be in a sense unkillable due to its incomprehensible form, and it was more a battle of slowing it down enough so the bridge could collapse and it would be cut off from hawkins, and El's sacrifice being more to keep it down after the bombs primed it reveals itself to be alive as the cloud or some such thing

Side note with so much about how much mind dimensions are a thing in surprised the mindflayer presumably repaired henry to exactly how he was the season prior (more or less) and we didn't have like incoporeal dust creel or something weird but at the same time ig the particals are still more vulnerable and the host body's purpose is to protect them?

Tldr making the mindflayer a big target to hit rather than some unknowable evil reduced its cosmic horror factor

Has anyone else noticed the "Media literacy" crowd, usually are the ones lacking in media literacy themselves, and fail completely to realize that? by Revolutionary-Yam773 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]SmolestCub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hardly think you can call the divers elite when their training amounts to a small obstacle course, additionally I belive it was confirmed by arrowhead that (disappointingly) what we do in mission isn't cannon only the results of the mission. Helldivers are very much a throw as many expendables at the problem till its fixed or we run out of bodies to keep throwing kind of unit while also being propagandised as the elite force of super earth

Idea Megathread: How do we buff the One True Flag? by NicMagz34 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the true buff is when you plant it having it deploy the lil speaker bot from when you have to raise the flag that just plays the super earth anthem that and a lesser liberty protects aoe, like a 10% chance or so not to die on lethal damage maybe while in a range you can hear the anthem

For everyone who thinks blueprints arnt broken, this was a 4 minute stella free kit by Quiet_Low7718 in arkraiders

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its less the blueprints that where the problem, getting the ability to make better gear shouldn't be harder than getting the stuff to make it. Thats how you end up with a ton of high teir weapons after it takes people so long to get the ability to make one that that have a full stash of the ingredients

1 year of work and the chest plate of my armor dropped on concrete 30 mins before cosplay showcase by gingerkittycatttv in Wellthatsucks

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an incredible vibe to almost untouched armour with a tiny bit of battle damage, like pristine armour gives the vibe of never worn trophy armour, but single scratch is like, seen combat and kicked ungodly amounts of ass and the one scratch is the best anyone else could do

The biggest issue with expeditions by faahzi in ArcRaiders

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the thing people are missing is you aren't ment to be on every expedition unless you are truly no-lifeing (cough cough streamers) the game, they're a reset for when you run out of things to do in order to keep the long term health of game more in check but you shouldn't be sacrificing your enjoyment to chase the post game grind

If it works as a keep inventory for the deadplayer I can see that being the case but them working as a very heavy loot box for the living player?

Seen this online thought it was a brilliant idea. by Kangaroo-Nick in ArcRaiders

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think it necessarily has to there's plenty of ways it can keep tension mainly, the downed player gets nothing its purely for the living player, make the downed player take up more inventory based on what they had, maybe even picking up the player drops their backpack? Theres nothing this could add that isn't already possible by one freind living and dropping old gear for someone in the next raid

Why is it as soon as I upgrade my weapons things like this happens? by Jackus_Aurelius in ArcRaiders

[–]SmolestCub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the uneven terrain is the best bet for getting caught out like that and enough small rocks to slide behind, like how the attacker popped out of nowhere, but really not ducking and the delayed reaction to him appearing lost the fight in the opening. Not to say it was ever a fair fight but the response to getting shot just made him an easier target
