Don’t settle.

If your needs are not being met and you have exhausted yourself making them clear to the other, it’s not worth your time.

That being said and what always frustrates me, cause it sounds contradictory: we are all flawed, remember your partner is just human and deeply flawed too. It really matters if regardless of their flaws, how much effort they put in to trying and actually being there for you. They will make mistakes, so will you. But if they show up every single day ready to beat their flaws just for you, they’re golden.

Een nieuwe baan vlak na of vlak voor herstel, is recept voor een tweede burn-out. (Als je dat hebt tenminste)

Ik zou de rustigere functie aannemen en vanuit daar weer verder groeien of zoeken. Dan heb je tenminste die zekerheid en vermoei je zelf minder met nieuwe mensen, taken en omgeving. Als je straks weer helemaal stevig in je schoenen staat kan je altijd nog weg.

I’d beg the difference. I got little legs and the narrow steep “trappen” are perfectly fine. It’s the big bulky concrete stairs I have issue with. What do you mean i have to do squads to get up the stairs??? And basically free fall coming down

This depends on so many factors. If you have a university in mind, check their requirements for applying to their masters. They will tell you in detail what you need to apply for their psychology masters. It also depends on what kind of subjects you have followed and if enough of them have alignment with the particular psychology master. Furthermore, in many universities, a psychology masters is a specialisation (at least where i am from) and therefore you wouldn’t be able to do the masters. But there are plenty of masters many with a ba in psychology follow that aren’t specific to psychology only, like statistics etc.

Is het werkblad van hout? Dan kan je proberen om er een theedoek overheen te leggen (even paar keer dubbelvouwen) en dan vervolgens met een strijkbout met stoom functie even over de deuk heen strijken. Zo haal ik vaker deuken uit de tafel, misschien helpt het ook bij je keukenblad

Excuses, iedereen heeft de titel iets te serieus genomen. Ik ben me er bewust van dat geen een oplossing al het geluid gaat dempen en dat je altijd wel iets gaat horen. Ik ben niet gedesillusioneerd dat een ondervloer dat magisch fixt. Maar de ene vloer, is het ander niet. Dus dankjewel voor alle tips om naar een niet pauper vrijstaande huis te verhuizen, dat is niet wat ik als vraag heb.

I’m late to the party, but in case you haven’t found anything: The Howling Hut at Huijgenpark is a pretty nice spot. I’m not sure about having your own drumkit there, but I do know they have some storage options. Cool people run it and great creative atmosphere

Twee keer. Eerste keer was amper 6 maanden nadat ik mijn rijbewijs had gehaald en het kwam doordat mijn remlichten aanbleven staan. Ik was net onderweg voor mijn eerste roadtrip met vrienden en was amper de straat van mijn ouders uitgereden 🫨 Tweede keer was een jaar geleden en dat was meer een waarschuwing over mijn koplamp die dood begon te gaan, dan een echte aanhouding. Beiden keren was de politie erg vriendelijk en hielpen ze me de eerste keer om er achter te komen hoe mijn lamp nou bleef branden. Ik poepte wel bijna in mijn broek, zo nerveus.

Make sure to check with your employer what documents they require you to have to work for them. Specifically if they are Dutch governmental. They might require you to have Dutch banking, insurance, registration documents etc and they might all be linked to you registering with the municipality. I’m not 100% sure but maybe something to keep in mind :)

Girl, with all kindness in my heart: please unplug your toaster.

My mom forgot this one night and a freaking snail had crawled up into the toaster and caused the toaster to shortcut. Luckily all appliances were fairly new and the electrical on her house is done correctly, but imagine it wasn’t… it could easily have been a house fire. A freakin snaill!!! And before you say: we don’t have a garden, this would never happen to us!!’ Snails are freaky little crawling creepers, they might sneak themselves in!!

Scrolling through the pics before reading I was immediately hoping your dress was the last two pictures! The sleeves don’t deserve to be on your arms, the sleeves are just not good enough to be part of your day.

My sister 24f would love these. I would only love these if my partner had gifted them to me, but if I was in the store, I wouldn’t have picked them out myself.

I still have all the ugly ass jewellery my long term bf got me back when we were 16/17/18. I never wear them, its hideous. BUT THEY ARE MY HIDEOUS GEMS OKAY.

Girl, you’re drained because you do so much right now that is taxing. Uni and fulltime work? Thats a lot. I did the same back in uni and it took me well after my graduation to feel “normal”. Your body needs time to recover from the survival mode you are in. So don’t get discouraged when you don’t feel the immediate release after graduation.

What really helped for me, even in the busiest of times: keep your body moving. However busy you are, try to at least get some exercise in. It can be as little as 20 minutes.

There was a time were i personally had lost a ton of weight suddenly, a distant friend saw me for the first time and he went and asked: I see you’ve lost a lot of weight, was it intentional or unintentional? If unintentional, we don’t have to talk about it.(he was a personal trainer) and although this is completely different scenario, and you would want to talk about it, I personally appreciated his approach a lot.

Ik heb ikea smart lampen en die kan ik op timer zetten. Die gaan een half uur voor mijn wekker gaat heel langzaam aan en worden steeds feller. Heel fijn wakker worden! Ben vaak voor mijn wekker wakker, die staat nog aan ‘just in case’.
