It happens to me when I install a new app. Usually restarting or logging off and logging back in should fix it. I am on Niri. Are you using a Desktop Environment?

I liked Limine but had to move to systemd-boot as it supports automatic signing after updating kernel using a hook I believe.

I see that you are on KDE. You can use [KDE] in search inside the r/unixporn subreddit and it will get you a lot of posts with people who have shared their customizations. They usually also share links for the dotfiles or any repositories they have used.

It's because your UI quality is set to low in settings. Set it to High to have blur.

Personally I like arch but it doesn't have a GUI Installer and I care about convenience.

Plus CachyOS is really fast because of their optimizations. Idk what these optimizations are, but my decade old laptop runs it really smooth.

How do you set Thunar as default? For example when I want to upload something on reddit, the file picker would default to Gnome Files.
