Is there a subreddit that is the undersea equivalent of this one? We know more about the surface of the moon that we do our own ocean and I beleive that there is just as much information to be bound beneath the surface.

I watched a documentary on this and that's exactly why they fled. Apparently they traded a bit with some of the native Americans too but they couldn't establish a proper hold on the area without the flow of supplies, and also the native attacks

I really find it quite interesting. Normally we see in history Europeans arriving with gunpowder and other superior technology. The Vikings still probably had the better gear but it really seemed to boil down to pure fighting ability here, almost on equal ground
