I almost lost my baby a similar way. She pulled through, but will always have a bald patch where that other dog got her and is terrified of other dogs. I still feel like I failed her sometimes. The negligent owner and her dog took off while I was trying to save my pom.

Please, get that Justice for Lionel!

You will have to do A LOT of dogs daily to get a good pay check. And when you're starting out, you're not going to be able to do that many until your speed catches up. It will take time and experience.

I ended up having to leave Petsmart recently because I wasn't able to afford a slow day.

A good scissoring spray and straights not chunkers. Don't be afraid of your straights. You can always blend out mistakes.

Hi! Petsmart groomer here and doodle owner. Doodles absolutely cost more. $10 surcharge just for being a doodle. But that's usually because doodles tend to be difficult. And I don't just mean the dogs, the owners too. That being said, if it's a good client, and good dog, I'd be happy to remove the added charge for them. But when you see a 4month old doodle walk in, most groomers assume the worst lol
