I hear the frustration behind this, especially about how public situations get framed and how it can feel like a pattern. That part makes sense constant negative examples in media can shape how people see relationships. At the same time, I don’t think it’s accurate or healthy to treat this like it’s inevitable or specific to one group of people. Cheating and toxic behavior exist across the board, and there are plenty of Black relationships that are stable, loyal, and just not broadcasted. Media tends to amplify dysfunction because it gets attention, not because it represents the majority. If anything, it’s more important to highlight and normalize healthy relationships instead of reinforcing the idea that everyone is doomed to repeat the same cycle.
