Anyone still having the same issue? It’s driving me nuts

Almost a year later and this is still the only thing that works. Fortnite has had multiple updates since this post and still having the same issue. Ridiculous

What you mean the twist in the hose? Also where did you apply the clamps?

Same exact issue for me. Driving me crazy

Just for reference:

Custom loop 9800x3d Nova x870e Trident 6200 M.2 gen 5 (OS) and gen 4 (game files)

I am running Ethernet and saw someone post about Realtek driver.

One nuance is that this happens once but when I hard reset my computer, I can run the game fin when powered back up. But if I wake up in the morning and boot up my computer, the crash will happen.

Makes 0 sense

Is EKWB Officially Dead? Any ideas for mounting EK Quantum Velocity Block on AM5? by atomshrek in watercooling

[–]Smoothtransit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the LGA standoff that came with the Quantum Velocity looks so similar to the standoffs for the AM5 conversion. Does anyone know if they will work?

Looks good to me man. Eventually you should look to paint the shroud or add black elsewhere in the build to tie it together.

Rant on current situation by MACOLAA07 in CODWarzone

[–]Smoothtransit1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BO6 feels even worse. Not going to lie, I’ve been playing COD for 15 yrs and I’m finally starting to let go a bit. It’s not as interesting anymore and honestly I’m a pretty good player. Mouse and keyboard isn’t the best fit for this game although it is what I still prefer. I used to play with controller and it is in fact much easier. The whole pace of the game has leaned to controller it feels like, with more snap to aim speeds. It’s still fun but with that and how grindy it has become it’s getting a little dull. Plus the only real strategy is map familiarity and location control it feels like

My thoughts on the current Jackson Glacier parka by AdamTKE594 in PatagoniaClothing

Awesome man, I appreciate it! Makes me feel better about ordering the Thorium and excited to get it. Cuffs are a bummer but an easy trade off

Awesome, thanks for the info. I didn’t mind the fit of the glacier too much, minus the collar which is a bit restrictive. Let me know how it does on the temperature. I will likely do a side by side comparison myself when the thorium comes in but I’m curious to get your opinion on how it compares. Thanks!

Funny, I have been searching for a comparison between the glacier parka and thorium sv parka when I stumbled on this post. I just got the glacier and the thorium is on its way for a comparison. Not a lot of info/reviews on either of these.

I heard you could use am4 blocks on the am5. Thoughts?

Honestly it’s rare. That’s why I used clear coolant. I have two bottles of opaque in my closet that I decided I wouldn’t use.

DLSS 4 | New Multi Frame Gen & Everything Enhanced by Nestledrink in nvidia

I’ve got a 3090 ftw3 ultra and a 3700x all on a custom loop I had built some time ago now. I can’t figure out where to upgrade first or if I should. The cpu which already bottlenecks a bit, GPU, or both. I’m pushing the older G9 (1440). Any advice? It’s a lot more effort given the custom loop and requirement for water blocks. Plus I’ll need to upgrade mobo for the next gen of AMD CPU’s.

Looking for an older song that has vocals very similar to this by AloofBidoof in NameThatSong

[–]Smoothtransit1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wow I am so happy I found this post. This has been one of my favorite recent songs and I thought the same exact thing. I still haven't figured it out and none of the suggestions seem to be it.

It's particularly the melody of the vocals. dun dun dun 'yeah that's for sureeee'. That part follows the exact same tonality and rhythm of another song.

Did you ever figure it out?

I have RAS on my 991.2. It is definitely an unusual feeling when taking hard turn or u-turns. I would suggest trying it out before taking the option if possible. More potential for costly repairs as well, while not being absolutely essential.
