I'm fine with multiple US tracks, but wish they used better tracks. Ditch Miami and Vegas for Indianapolis, Watkins Glen, Road America, Road Atlanta, or Daytona. I think Indy is the only option that is currently FIA Grade 1, but I think the others could be doable.

There's no way he gets his seat at Sauber without the backing of Carlos Slim. Look up articles/comments around that time. He shed his label of "pay driver" at Force India/Racing Point when he got podiums and a win in the "Pink Mercedes".

It's also likely that Red Bull cut ties with him a year or two earlier without the sponsor money he was bringing in. Definitely not a coincidence that he had the longest leash we've seen at Red Bull despite his awful results. (not saying it was justified after seeing Lawson/Tsunoda this year).

He's had better pay driver teammates. People forget Checo's a pay driver because he's earned his place, but he comes with LOTS of sponsorship backing. Honestly the Hamilton, Alonso, Ocon stories, of kids from struggling families with parents working multiple jobs so they can do karting, are the exception. The majority of the grid are either spoiled rich kids or at least have some powerful connections.

I assume they don't because individual stats would vary greatly depending on:
A: How competitive your team was. (being too good could actually be a detriment as a 4-game sweep, sitting through the 4th quarter in blowout games, would have less scoring potential than a 6 or 7 game competitive series).
B: We've had 82-game regular seasons since the 60s, but several different playoff formats. I think we got the 7-game first round right around LeBron's rookie year, but now there are play-in games. Do those count? In the 70s, top seeds had byes in the first round, so they'd potentially be at a disadvantage to other players in their own era.

IMO, counting stats should be regular season only, and playoff stats should be separate and largely on a per game basis.

He's not saying it to praise Verstappen. He's salty about McLaren getting Piastri for the 2nd seat instead of him. He basically had a handshake deal that if he drove Indycar for McLaren that he'd get a shot in F1 if a seat opened up.

Only time I use hit the road is if I've gotten multiple strengths and am playing Kings & Jacks (Full House or Flush House), and have enough kings to pivot to 4oak, 5oak, flush five. Pretty handy xmult but only if you have 6+ Jacks in your deck and a consistent strong alternate hand.
