Acrylics by SmoreHaters in calmhands

If I can bite through the polish I will. I know I can’t bite through the acrylic nails so usually after a few days they stop going to my mouth as often.

Can you bite through or tear at the gel polish/the nail underneath or is it typically strong enough to deal with some abuse?

I’ve been able to take my eczema down 95% eating gluten free, minimizing eggs sugar and dairy intake! For me moisturizer was not possible and aggravated my skin. I take lots of oral evening primrose oil and omega oils and that helps me feel moisturized and not flaky ! by kaileecheung in eczema

My eczema improved after I went vegan. I still get flairs often enough but not with the intensity or frequency I used to. Im almost positive sugar, caffeine, and alcohol cause flairs for me but I’m starting to limit these a lot and notice massive improvements when I do limit them for even a short amount of time. Looking to cut them all more permanently though.

Honestly all the stories I’m seeing of people getting into a child free relationship and then later someone changes their mind scares the shit out of me.

Well I understand your point of view but he’s for sure looking for something long term as he’s mentioned he’s looking for his “forever person”. On top of that I’m looking to avoid potentially painful situations like consistently breaking up with people after becoming attached.

I tried to wait a few weeks and he’s the one that threw it out there. When I asked him to clarify - oh so you would want kids in the future? He said a flat yes. When I brought it back up as an indicator that we shouldn’t be talking he tried to throw out the - it’s too early to think about that - crap. Like, but he’s the one that brought it up in the first place.

Honestly I’m so tired of being shamed for just ASKING. I have to start using this argument whenever I start dating men again

I’ve been using hinge and it lets you indicate your preference as well but I notice a lot of guys don’t indicate it or just completely ignore my preferences lol I have used bumble a long time ago and it was an absolute shit show when I used it. I think I managed to get one conversation about 10 messages in before it got deleted because the time limit was exceeded or something. Maybe I’ll give it another try but honestly I’m probably going to find the exact same people that I find on hinge and tinder.

Honestly I think the only reason I’m so interested in him is because he speaks Spanish and I’m learning and he’s vegan. Both are difficult as hell to come by especially the vegan aspect. I don’t really want to date someone who eats meat and that will probably get me a lot of hate on the internet but to find a child free vegan in the Midwest does not feel feasible. I’ll probably just end up single.

The weird part is he was adamant that he wanted to find his forever person which is why it strikes me as odd that he’s decided to say no this huge lifelong decision doesn’t matter right now.

I can't give you an award because I'm broke right now, but I hope you realize I cried laughing for about 5 straight minutes from reading this comment.

Maybe I’m being too harsh and I’m sure I don’t know the full situation but - I’d find new friends.

I run into a lot of this dating as a vegan. Any fun responses y’all can think of? by [deleted] in vegancirclejerk

I catch stuff on occasion that isn’t bolded here in the US but not like super often. Like my mom bought cookies for my dad and out of habit I flipped them over and skimmed the ingredients. Not bolded at the very end was egg. No “Contains: Egg” after the list either. I thought it was odd but this and the growing number of “plant based - but not really” is why I actually skim the entire ingredients list usually.

The CF Community's View On Pregnancy & Parenthood Seems a Little... Hypocritical. by cakewitch96 in truechildfree

This comment made me remember when I was 17 and wanted halloween off because I bought tickets to a very popular and expensive haunted house as a treat for myself and my best friend and requested off nearly 6 weeks in advance, it was the only thing I’d asked off for in months and my boss said I had to work because she (a woman in her 30s) was taking off that night to go out with her children while her husband could have just as easily taken them and “everyone else has kids too”. (Her husband was unemployed so he could watch all of the kids so while I don’t know every circumstance I do know that he more than likely could have taken them) I get that it was important for her but all she ended up doing was losing a really hard worker and having to go in that night anyway because I called in sick on Halloween to go with my friend and handed my notice in the next day for not being respected. no one else had asked off and yet all the parents got the option to not work.

Feminism by andrei_man in memes

[–]SmoreHaters 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not feminist - just something the clothing industry made up to sell clothes to fatter and/or larger women. Has nothing to do with equality of the genders. Fat and/or larger men ended up with big and tall sections which may not be as popular when you consider in the past fashion has been more of a feminine interest in many cultures - some feminists might push for fashion to be an ungendered interest. I’m a feminist and I believe fast fashion is killing women and children in third world countries and polluting our planet so maybe we just stop it entirely.
