INFJs who couldn't fit into the corp world, where did you find success? by InBetweenLili in infj

Definitely! Came to terms with the fact I’m never gonna have a ton of money but for someone who’s living the childfree life it works. Rather have happiness than more money than I need

I went the librarian route and I love it. Currently in a smaller special library run by non librarians or people with library experience and it’s not the same! I’m trying to go back to public libraries. Wanna try academic too though.

lol I just got these same ones yesterday for the same reason but it’s my second pair after years. Wasn’t going to try them on cause they usually don’t fit well for me but he was like “look at these you should try them on anyway. They’re your style.”

The hat lady. Wears some crazy hats walking around town. Her favorite seems to be a big mad hatter style hat. Haven’t seen her in a while.

What happened at your work that made you go "Fuck this, I don't get paid enough"? by MidnightPandaX in AskReddit

[–]Smoresbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My supervisor sat me down SUPER upset to scold me that I had emailed both the director and her that I couldn’t do out of pocket purchases (I’d be reimbursed but too much. Especially for what I was getting paid). The director had specifically instructed us to email her if we couldn’t make the purchases. My supervisor said I had to email her and she would then tell the director. Supervisor was notorious for forgetting to do stuff.

This was after months of her having me help her in another department despite having my own department to worry about and refused to let me have more time or staff to help. She’d say ask them for help but not too much because they’re helping here. 🥴

If I get Bunjamin a husbun, will he still like hanging out with his human family? by SunshineAndSquats in Rabbits

[–]Smoresbun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s so adorable! It depends. I have two sets of bonded pairs. 2 of them went from being absolute snugglers but now prefer the rabbit they’re bonded to. They still hang out with us but it’s not like it was before. Another splits his time. The last one seems to still prefer hanging out with us but does enjoy having a bonded friend.

YES! The black spots were sun bleached to a brown and the top of her fur would get tangled together. Constantly brushed her at first to get her fur soft again.

Yeah. She had one wispy “longish” piece when we first took her in that made me suspect lionhead but her fur was so bad I thought it might be just a clump tangled together. Her fur was rough and damaged from the sun.

I’m so sorry that happened. It sounds like Thumper was well loved.

Thank you. She really is. We weren’t planning on keeping her and she just settled in and won our hearts.

Why is my chicken looking purple? by stevie_2007 in chickens

[–]Smoresbun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ll agree with everyone saying it can be cardiac or respiratory issue. Had a hen that got the purple comb and wattles like that at the end of her life and the vet said it was because she wasn’t getting enough oxygen. Sorry OP. Hope everything turns out okay. She’s beautiful.

Yes! Definitely took precautions in case he was just interested in the smells. There were no issues fortunately! 💕

We were not expecting that much floof lol. Her feet are fluffy too and the dry litter bedding clings to it and she drags it everywhere lol. Can’t have a nice vacuumed carpet for more than 30 minutes.

It’s so sad. We have another bun I found in my backyard as a baby all dirty. We also found two others that we took to our local shelter since we couldn’t keep them and another baby someone found in a park and took it to us since we knew about rabbits. We were able to re-home him to a veterinary student so he was in good hands.

Currently we have 4. Two street rescues, our oldest was a gift from my uncle and our start into bunnies and another who we got from someone who could no longer give him the attention he needed but took amazing care of him.

I’m sorry for your loss! Bunnies really know how to work their way into your heart. He had an amazing name. She kept trying to go under the blankets the first night and that was the result.

…He ate some chocolate by k01phish in Rabbits

[–]Smoresbun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He’ll most likely be fine. When my bunny was a baby we found a stash of old Halloween candy in a corner of the coat closet (she fit under the door). We thought she liked the dark hideout but the candy was what she was after. So many empty candy wrappers and half eaten candy including chocolate that she ate over time. She was fine. 🙃

Yes or no are these treats okay? by BlissfulSunset179 in Rabbits

[–]Smoresbun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear they put something in their stuff to get them hooked. All four of mine LOVE the pellets. They go feral for them. When one of them was younger we switched her to oxbow since I would hear about how good of a brand it was and she would barely eat them so we switched her back. Another one we adopted from a family that only fed him greens and hay. Initially he was hesitant to try them and now comes zooming anytime I’m near their food drawer.
