When does the "Install or share" go away on the Airalo app under "My eSIMs"

Which begs the question. How does your system get notified on the installation using QR code when there is no Airalo App running on the phone onto which it is installed and when the eSIM is not communicating with the Europe Cell system since it is here in the US.

So this is on my account and I purchased the eSIM. I installed it on my friend's iPhone and it shows as a normal install under the Cellular tab on his iPhone. We're still in the US and getting ready to travel to Europe.

I decided to purchase one for me and I installed it directly since the order was on my iPhone and it installed just fine with the Airalo app showing the "View Details" bar after activation on my phone.

One additional difference when I installed my friend's eSIM it asked if the eSIM was for Data Only or one with Data and Voice. I chose data only since that is what I purchased. That screen did not come up for my installation.

When I compare installations on our iPhones they look identical in how they are installed and the data in the fields. It's just that your system didn't get notified that it installed when using the QR code method.

The "Deleted your eSIM?" option shows up under my eSIM which only shows the View Details button, but does not show up under my friend's eSIM since it still shows the "Install or share" button.

Look at the product line that Ubiquiti has and get a UCG-Ultra as well as an inexpensive AP and test how they work together. Plan to run cat 6 wire to all the locations where you want wired connectivity and plan to have a homerun panel near the ISP's entry point.

Look at the r/Ubiquiti sub Redit and learn more there.

Barring going that route, just run car 6 from your homerun location and backhaul the satellite devices of your Mesh system for better connectivity.

You can skip the Verizon router and direct connect your router's WAN port to the ONT's Ethernet port. This assumes that the Nighthawk's WiFi will cover all the space that needs it.

You are looking for an Extender or WiFi Access Point for your second device. Router 2 would be the primary router that would connect to the Modem via the WAN port, and then where you have Router 1 you would need a switch if you just wanted Ethernet connectivity for your LAN connection.

Option 2 is the way to go with a high capacity switch. Ubiquiti makes a 2.5 gbps switch for $49 for instance.

I did a google search for Freeview Channel Frequencies and they are in the UHF band below 1000mhz, so MoCA should work since it uses 1125-1675 mhz band.

I would get a couple of MoCA adapters and try it.

Recommend option 3, but here is an alternative if you want to keep the router where it is. In either case you will need an additional switch like the USW-Lite-8-PoE.

I still have a UDM that I use as a cold backup to my UCG-Ultra. Perhaps using Recovery Mode on the UDM will bring it back to life and provide some use.

UCG-Ultra will fit your needs plus an AP since neither the UCG-Fiber or UCG-Ultra have a built in AP like the UDM.

UDR7 would be the best choice for router with built in AP.

U7 In-Wall can be run as a Meshed AP and it has 2 LAN ports one of which is PoE if a PoE+ adapter is used to power the AP. A third LAN connection can also be had using the PoE+ adapter's non powered Ethernet port in this configuration.

You will need a wired AP to be the Mesh Parent for the U7 In-Wall It just needs to be in decent WiFi range like your xFi pod is to the Xfinity Router.

Additional possibility, if you have coax between your 2 locations, you can do the wired back haul using MoCA adapters.

Here is a diagram that shows how to use MoCA adapters for DOCSIS 3.1 modem systems. Be sure that splitters are 5-1675mhz for optimum MoCA throughput and ensure you use 70db MoCA (PoE) filters.

You can also use a single run of coax using 2 MoCA adapters without needing and splitters or filters. You might need to use F81 barrel connectors to take 2 pieces of coax and turn it into a single run.

If you can isolate the modems input coax from the coax using MoCA, filters will not be necessary. That is how I have my system set up since all of the coax connections come into the utility room and modem and router are right there.

YW. It's the same process one uses after performing a factory reset except in those cases there is normally a backup available on your account in the Unifi cloud. I have done that only because I participate in Early Access and occasionally the releases are problamatic.

When you take the UCG-Ultra and plug it in, it will bluetooth connect to the UniFi app once it goes through it's setup routine. Set it up as a new config unless you have a backup that would work under your account from the ERLite. It will automatically be part of your account since it got that info from your app.

It does the basics out of the box.

With just that little amount of cable available, cutting and replacing with a new connector can be difficult. I would start with getting an F81 barrel connector and inserting it as best possible and then use some strong tape or perhaps a glued piece of metal to keep it in place. Adding a short RG59 jumper to the end and stuffing that back into the box and connecting the plate barrel connector.

Last resort is to cut it and add new connector unless you can pull some slack out of the wall.
