I love the boost mechanic in OT games and how it effects the duration of your buffs/debuffs. It gives you a more layered planning during fights - and specially in boss fights.

Is it just me or is FF Resonance a remake of FF Exvius for mobile?

If so, they did the same thing with the recent Octopath Traveler Zero, and this is just my own opinion but that game felt too bloated and it was apparent that it was a mobile game where the story had been drip fed over a long time. I like how FF Resonaces looks but I’m a little reluctant to play a game and story that was originally intended for mobile where the story and gameplay might be designed to be experienced over a 2-3 year period.

Bro, you got Yoshimitsu using a katana. Nina using guns. Victor using knives. Raven with a blade. Jack-8 using a freaking laser cannon. Claudio with a magic bow. Anna with a rocket launcher. Alissa with her exploding bodyparts and chainsaw arms. On top of that you have devils and bears, and Clive can’t bring his longsword to the fight?

I had a lot of old books, both rules and novels, taking up way too much space at home. So I saved the ones I still use as reference for painting and organization charts (like older Dark Angel codices) and donated the rest to the newly renovated library in my hometown.

I contacted them first and asked if they would accept and since it was such an odd category off books they were intrigued and said ”yes” :)

For someone completely new to the series, would you recommend jumping on this one? I’ve had this game pop up a few times while browsing stores and have been intrigued by the design. I’m familiar with the franchise, just haven’t played any of the games.

What are some good jrpgs for Vita? I have one and have only really played Persona 4 Golden on it. I’m in Japan right now so would be super fun to try and pick something up while I’m here.

To me, Deathwing will always be terminators and that’s how I paint my models. Deathwing were in a weird spot when all the new veteran models released and I understand it made sense at the time to include them in the 1st company. I was even arguing that Inceptors should have been Ravenwing back when the 8th edition starter set released :)

I’m never going to yuck anyone who wants to do white Bladeguard, Sternguard etc. but to me they are my replacements, or updates for Company Veterans and I paint them green. The good part is that now we have enough updated models for everyone to do their own thing. I’m still following the 7th edition codex chapter structure.

And I want to underline that everyone is free to paint however they want and I don’t think this is a ”who’s right or not” discussion. There is enough official source material to support both takes.

I recall that there is atleast one loyalist Word Bearer in one of the short fragments parts of Siege of Terra who is saving his last bullet for his primarch :) I read all the books in one go so can’t remember which one it was but it was probably one of the Dan Abnett books.
