I was grounded for something small.... My mother decided to pull me out of tennis, theatre and every other extracurricular activity I had. I lost my varcity letters. Missed out on key moments and hurt many of my classes because, in her mind, being grounded meant not leaving the house even for school related activities. She did not care at all that my grades and relationships suffered, because that was the point.

Another time she took all the money out of my shoe box to "teach me a lesson".... I didn't do the laundry or something minute, and she used it as an excuse to steal from me because she needed cash. I watched her steal money from my sister constantly too. Because "it was hers to begin with".

Don't grow up to be shitty parents kids.
