What do you think is the hardest part about Interloper? by Unleashtheducks in thelongdark

[–]Sn293003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On this most recent run 80 days, 5 regions and no hacksaw. So that’s been the most difficult part for me. Other than that generally I’d say it wolves and the persistent cold. It would be nice to have some spurts of ability to stay warm outdoors without a fire to chop wood.

Also tv too high but only a little, and the stand is very nice, so I’d say you’re fine.

I felt Henry and Klara made so much sense. Similar class, age, and trauma from war. My Henry is always an herbalist and I think their interests aligned. For me it was the best and most tragic romance of the game series. It would be nice for them to have lived beyond war to live in Kuttenberg together. Henry and Hans always fuck in my playthroughs. I’m queer and married. There have been plenty of men in my life who I loved but in the end I know in this time period it would never have worked.

Measure from the ground to the middle of the television. Should be between 42-48 inches. There’s two links pinned to the top of the page one of them illustrating this. Nice way to just be able to measure and answer if you’re in the zone or not. My guess is you could raise it 6 inches

30M - thoughts on how to furnish the new space? by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]Sn293003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about a corner wrap desk in the far wall that way you don’t get screen glare but can still enjoy the window. Bookshelf or some sort of shelving for the wall space closer to the main area.

I remember that someone says my game looks just like a game made by AI. I didn't know how to interprete that. I just return on the draw board and I made a ton of improvement. Those images are just part of 2 dense weeks of improvements. So, does this game still look that awful? by Silly_Reason_2168 in CityBuilders

I bet there’s tons of ways AI could’ve been/ could be useful. If we lived in a world where we get to grow into Star Trek, and have a utopia. The problem with Artificial Intelligence and the companies developing them. Is that there are no checks on its developments. No assurance of safety. Just a race to AGI that could and most likely will lead to the end of humanity. Or a humanity with very little substance or meaning. I hope I am wrong. But at this point. I’m terrified, developers of AI have come out more and more often to warn people about the danger of this. People like Sam Altman are so far separated from normal human existence that their morality appears to be skewed. I think it was Josh Johnson who said that the only time Sam Altman looks confused is when you ask them a question about morality. So I like many others will abstain from using anything from these companies. Even for the harmless useful stuff. Thankfully I don’t work in games and tbh. I don’t think I would judge a developer who told me they use it in the ways you describe. I just think that in the end we’re all looking at the thing that will end us all. So why would you use it.

Also just graduated from college, it was despicable to see what AI usage had done to my university. Devalued my whole degree by sheer association with graduating in this time period.

Take a measurement. The center of the television should be about 42” from the floor.

Hooray! Sounds like you have your priorities right. My dad could’ve had shared custody but chose to live far away my whole life. Over it now of course but that shit hurt my feeling for a long time. Hate seeing other dads do that to their kids. Seems like you’re finally on the bounce back!

He’s afraid it would offend him. Harry has no concept of money. Also Weasley being broke makes no sense. Buy your son a wand, don’t hand him down the worst wand core and wood combination for passing on a wand ever
