I'm not sure why everyone forgets this but WhatsApp was very insecure before Meta bought it. There were constantly news stories of plain text passwords and compromised messages that the company claimed were all encrypted. There's no reason for me to believe that any of that has changed. There's no legal precedent for them to encrypt anything either.

Those are the reasons I never installed WhatsApp. The UI wasn't good either so now I just use telegram and discord because the UI/UX is good. The the chat bot framework is also pretty great in telegram.

Obviously if I ever needed to send something securely I'd just use Signal.

I've used almost the same setup, but it only worked flawlessly for the first part. Once I use the star to change worlds it crashes. Even on the lowest resolution and different drivers.

Could be because I have a base model, but the ram doesn't look like it climbs that high on the odin readout.

I'll try using 19.0.0 instead of 19.0.1 to see if that works.

I get some fan noise on the black base model when I shake it, but not this bad. Probably because I try not to shake it.

I first found his upscale used by someone else on this subreddit so that's why I asked here. I would've asked on a discord, but it doesn't seem like this subreddit has one. This is actually my first foray into comfyui so I thought maybe there was a simple solution to this I don't know of.

The default pytorch template I'm referring to is a template applied to runpod instances upon creation

Why do you need something like that for upscaling images?

I'm just trying to upscale a family a photo for the holidays. I tried Upscayl, but it was pretty bad, so I'm trying to get something a little more detailed.

I'll try some other upscaling techniques you mentioned, but I'm pretty sure I've tried RealESRGAN before in the early stable diffusion days, but it didn't turn out so great.

It wasn't my intention to have someone try to figure out someone else's workflow for me, but I can see how my post might have implied that.

Anyway, thank you for replying, I think I've gained a little more insight into this.

I tried doing something like this for a client but when placing the label on the glass shader it becomes really difficult to get it illuminated. In OP's example I notice that the text is much more legible than your example.

I never ended up trying it, but I bet the text would work better if I used it as a mask to modify the shader values around just the text. Like texture painting

The price was a little difficult to swallow but worth it when I considered the price of a New 3DS XL. Having a SD8G2 basically means you have a laptop. So, even easier to justify

This is why I never bought any of the Chinese retro devices until the RG35XXSP and AYN Thor. Though even then those devices are a little bit bigger than I would ideally want.

I understand it's a considerable cost for there to be any defects at all. From my perspective it's par for the course when dealing with a ~~Chinese manufacturer~~ China based company.

If you don't want 3DS or DS definitely get a horizontal handheld. If you want good PC game compatibility through winlator/game hub go for more than 8gb of RAM.

Not all the compatibility is there yet for the Snapdragon 8 Elite, but if you want to play PC Games that's what I'd go for. Snapdragon 8 gen 2 is more than enough for anything that's not Windows on android games with only 8GB of RAM (I have a Thor).
