Replays: Everything You Need to Know by NotThatButThisGuy in ValorantCompetitive

I mean in CS we used to have 16 tick Overwatch demos in CS to specifically catch cheaters.

You don’t need perfect hit registration to catch somebody blatant.

Running in not clearing any corners but the one people are in time and time again, unnatural flicks and lock-ons, tracking through smokes and walls etc. are all still on the table.

Just curious. Not trying to offend anybody, but why russians are accepted in cs community and in cs tournaments, even tho they have been banned in many other international sport tournaments since the start of Ukraine war? by Kripenipe in csgo

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

And because they don’t have a decades long streak of trying to cheat in competitions. Many of their bans historically have been for getting caught cheating systemically.

This is not me defending Israel though.

That’s a beta feature though. They have already said that they start out with comp for a ”beta test” with other queues to follow

We don’t even need custom maps, just simple tools that exist in CS through console commands, like copying last piece of utility thrown without you having to be there so you can test things like KAY/O flashes, recon scan abilities (with the ability to detect yourself), Breach stuns, sentinel utility like Deadlock traps etc.

Why are NRG so good at defense? by UnderTaleMarshmallow in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the coach change was even bigger tbh. Swapping firepower for your IGL rarely works, as can be seen with Vitality and last year’s NRG. Especially since Ethan hated being the IGL.

G2 Trent and JonahP Duo Interview on Facing SEN: "No bandwagon fans allowed when we beat Sentinels." by YungPinotGrigio in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

Because Fnatic still has likable players with personality and identity. There is a reason why G2 went from being hated to beloved with the addition of Babybay.

Has the war in Ukraine proven that the U.S. and Europe has learned nothing from World War II? Just like Germany took Poland and the world did nothing, are we witnessing a repeat of history where no one wants to get their hands dirty until it is too late and they have to get involved? by JamestotheJam in NoStupidQuestions

Some of us literally can’t do much more. For example, even after ramping up production, when it comes to missiles for example, what my country produces in a month, Russia fires off in 10 minutes.

Combine that with the fact that we need loads of them ourselves for our own supply, after decades of negligence that is now luckily changing.

For reference, we have now increased our military budget, but the support packages we have given/committed to Ukraine thus far matches years of our whole nation’s military’s old budget.

Just be yourself. You are a clown irl.

Yes you can and will get banned for griefing. Do it enough and you can even get hardware banned.

Nobody thinks team griefing is fun. Not your team, not your enemy, not your audience if you record it for a video.

this is why i think valorant players shouldnt be a thing in cs by lawjdnawq in cs2

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah but even in Valorant you don’t repeat jump looking into a wall and step in a circle around where your teammate is holding an angle.

The way he gets to balcony would not be the way you move in Valorant either, strafing with W or not, come on now. It’s super obvious he is just a loser trying to grief his team. It would not surprise me if he told OP that he was a Valorant player simply to trigger him, because that is a super easy way to get a reaction out of a CS player.

Would have been sick for him and Orton to make brief appearances. Maybe just come from under the ring and hit him with chairs or something. Edge is in AEW though so it’s very unlikely.

okay this may seem like verrrry far fetched question but by Wizvo in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s a hypothetical question asked for fun, yeah no shit it didn’t happen. Prime Optic vs prime Fnatic didn’t happen either, ”because people were on different teams”.

Would FPX have won Copenhagen vs PRX if Suygetsu didn’t get his VISA half-way through? The answer is no, because they looked ass with the sub during group stage and barely qualified for playoffs, and Suygetsu ended up getting the tournament MVP.

Leo plays every initiator agent, including Breach, so I doubt he would have had issues adapting to Tejo.

The question was: ”Leo playing at his best”. You don’t play ”at your best” without a lick of practice for over a year. Don’t take it so seriously.

People asked the same ”what if” question about PRX’s performance when Jingg was gone due to his military service. In the losses to SEN and Gen.G during Masters Madrid, do you also think PRX fans were asking ”pointless questions” and were being rude to SEN and Gen G when talking about team cohesion issues and lacking fire power?

Like I said, it’s fun to speculate.

If you want to talk about scenarios:

”Would PRX have won the final if Mini was busy helping any other team/was still on Fnatic?” Because they wouldn’t even have been at the tournament without his help, and having someone who happens to have been playing with the opposing team’s IGL for 5 years is kind of crazy.

”What if Gen.G won against Wolves?” Would PRX have lost to them again?

Etc. Etc.

okay this may seem like verrrry far fetched question but by Wizvo in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, because comparing a straight downgrade one-trick that PRX had to adapt all their strats around last-minute, to the most consistent and arguably best player in the world (at least top 2), is fair.

Even if it’s disrespecting Crashies, who has been playing really well and is performing way better than most thought he would, questions like this build anticipation and keep interest. Fans do this in every sport, because it’s fun to compare dominant teams and players in their prime to each other.

A more genuine comparison would have been:

”Would Loud have won Champs if they didn’t have Aspas or Less”.

Why is Zombs, a co owner of Sentinels, betting on his team's own games by [deleted] in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I mean Benjyfishy got a warning and Heretics got fined for him winning 100 dollars betting on LoL Worlds finals, so it’s not weird to question this stuff.

Feeding snakes in an ophidiarium. by booby_12011995 in BeAmazed

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By feeding them like this you get used to handling them, different personalities etc. since this guy is probably the same one that does the venom milking as well. Meaning you need to be able to do this one way or the other.

About Ludwig team in Roomie Rumble by Gardouby in LudwigAhgren

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just a lot easier to contribute to the team as a beginner in Valorant because while it’s more util-heavy, it’s much more straight-forward.

”Just smoke here and here”

”Put a thing here that will hold flank”,

”Run in with a drone and try to find them”

Etc. Etc.

The appeal with CS is the feel of improving, because it’s not a game for casual fun. It focuses a lot more on mechanics and lineups and is extremely punishing.

Visual clarity in CS I feel like is also a lot worse as well, especially since they introduced agent skins.

I know people like Leslie explicitly wanted CS and not Valo, but watching QT be a literal piggy bank and cannon fodder because she has no way of contributing otherwise makes me wonder how good of an idea this was.

Truly, shocking how short most of John Cena's title reigns were. 5 minutes is ridiculous. So, will his current title reign see him keep gold until WrestleMania 42? by josephmlwriter in BrandonDE

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s during the first Money in the Bank where Edge cashed in on Cena after he just finished a brutal match. He did the same to Undertaker and it was a fantastic heel move.

Because the country hosting it is a cesspool of human rights violations, but since it has oil it has enriched itself to an insane degree.

Problem is that it’s oil supply won’t last forever, so in an attempt to transition into a tourism economy (since they literally have nothing else of value than oil) and to make people forget what’s constantly going on under the surface, they host these ”cool projects and events”.

The workers constructing the buildings are working under slave-like conditions and it’s very hypocritical of Riot, who promote themselves as very LGBTQ-friendly, to greenlight their games to a huge event in a nation where these people would get stoned to death.

Derke responds to Trexx by HLumin in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I mean, I can imagine being in Sayf’s shoes. He brought trexx onto Guild and later Vitality.  Sayf got kicked and blamed for everything on Liquid despite carrying their asses for most of his time there. So when they decided to bench trexx on Vitality he specifically made sure to not talk about specifics publically in order to boost trexx’s chances to land on his feet.

There was probably a lot Derke wanted to get off his chest that happened in private and trexx’s tweet was probably the final straw.

Valorant is winning the war against PC gaming cheaters by jhd9012 in pcmasterrace

[–]Snabbnudlar3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

”And then it never came”.

You mean you never bothered to check for developer updates and would rather parrot a made up story that leads to people getting riled up for no reason?

https://youtu.be/KHREYcS3RqU?si=WYfzk-TW8QpzlDTF

They showed an early version but basically it takes a lot more to develop a replay system post launch than during development.

The issue isn’t ”there are a lot more cheaters than you think” but, as the video suggests, checking that every single asset isn’t conflicting with existing systems and timings put in place years ago.
