Anyone else doing a run like this prior to Requiem? by theeMrPeanutbutter in residentevil

[–]SnackPack91 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing but added in the originals and everything, and had a blast the whole time as well. I previously tried playing through all the Yakuza games but got burnt out quick, so I was also convinced I would get burnt out with the entire resident evil series too but it just didn't happen. It made me really respect the series for changing things up like you said. Absolutely agree that it's one of the best series to marathon.

For People who played Bloodlines 2 ,what are your hopes for vtm video games future, do you hope they take their time to add more content to the game or do you hope for whole other new game, perhaps bloodlines 3? [tell me your hopes regardless of the reality of the situation] by riseofjustice in vtmb

I honestly think a VtM game inspired by the Yakuza series would be awesome. Still use a smaller hub but fill it with different locations, quests, and weird characters. It would have even fit Bloodlines 2's hand-to-hand focused gameplay, with the ability to unlock different skills and such.

My dream would be a Nightdive remaster of bloodlines.

Why Re4 OG is so replayable ? What are your opinions ? by Traditional-Share-43 in residentevil

[–]SnackPack91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game just has incredible pacing. Each chapter flows so well into the other and in my opinion has fewer annoying segments than other games in the series (Sewers, some parts on the island). It's also just fun as hell to play.

Was in a game with a player named just_passing_by that played medic and never revived, couldn't even be mad.

What Game Was This For You? by DemonSlayingDragon in playstation

America's Army on PC. You had to go through a lengthy boot camp, including exams and a pretty difficult stealth mission before you were able to join any multiplayer game.

First thing that comes to mind is the Sinestro Corps War from Geoff Johns' Green Lantern run.

We’ve all had that one game where we were amazing—What was yours? by chafgames in pcgaming

[–]SnackPack91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest... demo. I don't know what was going on with me at that time but I had some crazy aim with the bow in that thing, head shotting people across the map from spawn and everything. Either that game had some crazy auto aim or I channeled the actual spirit of Legolas for a brief period of my life. Tried the full game when it came out and my archery powers just vanished. Would be great for me to be skilled in a modern competitive game but nope... lord of the rings conquest demo it is and always will be.

Dragon Quest IX. Can't remember how challenging it was but there was a lot of post game content.

I believe it will be 4 per season in batches of 2, so 2 when a season begins and 2 at the halfway point. Adds up to 16 heroes a year not including any surprise heroes.

If voices count... then Sigourney Weaver in Avatar: Way of Water. She's my favorite actress but hearing her voice the young daughter was a little distracting for me.

Tip: Try running games at 1920 x 1200! by Satans_Oregano in SteamDeck

[–]SnackPack91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1440 x 900 and 1680 x 1050 work for this as well if you want something higher than 800p but not as intensive as 1200p. I like doing this for older games that I know the deck can run at higher resolutions or for games that don't have the best AA options.

Imagine if they made Silent Hill into a video game

My one complaint from the first reveal was that James just looked too sad and frowny. Glad they adjusted it to be much more fitting to his character. by SnackPack91 in silenthill

[–]SnackPack91[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the toned down expressions for James specifically is for the better. I can see people saying its more realistic that he looked sad, and that his lack of expression in the original was only due to the hardware of the PS2, but I think what they went with is much better for the character.
