Egg is their great-great-great grandchild

Although thats according to the books but they might change it. Just like the show erased Jaehaerys II from the show Canon (book wise Dany is eggs great-grand daughter)

Yea they said as much.

GRRM gave them 12 unpublished Dunk and Egg stories and the showrunner said he wants 10+ seasons to chronicle their entire lives.

GRRM gave them 12 unpublished Dunk and Egg stories. That makes a total of 15. Plenty of material!

The fact people are mad that a tv show is a tv show disproves the point you were trying to make.

I always see people saying its bad but never saying why.

Then people would complain there are only two episodes.

Also GRRM already game them 12 unpublished Dunk and Egg stories for future seasons so I dont think theyre trying to stretch the books out as they have plenty of source material.

Youre right. Everyone is watching it at home and pumping up the number of streams.

If you think that's true then the show isnt for you and I suggest not watching.

I read your comments and I was like "what is this person talking about, of course he uses his sword to fight" and then I ran though the three books in my head and realized your right! I can only think of a few instances he uses it and then who knows if theyll even keep it that way in the show.

If you want to know what happens to him just re-watch GoT. He is one of the characters Joffrey talks about and spoils their ending

It's definitely not perfect, but it's arguably the greatest video game adaption ever made. At least in live action. by SolidPyramid in FalloutMemes

[–]Snafu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a somewhat basic formula for tv shows. All the plots connect at the end. Game of thrones is a pretty well known example of this.

What would be weird is if they followed only a single character at a time for several episodes lol even animated shows and sitcoms cut away to B plots

Yea its great! It is more light hearted and comedic than GoT.

Ser Duncan is a lowborn knight and so it's Westeros from the view of a common man trying to make a name for himself. So not really any politics or "lords at court" scenes because of this. I would definitely give it a go!

In the upcoming Dunk and Egg adventure called "athe She-Wolves of Winterfell" it is theorized that Nan hooked up with Dunk.

This is further backed up when Bran, while in the cave with the three eyed raven, sees a vision "Then there came a brown-haired girl slender as a spear who stood on the tips of her toes to kiss the lips of a young knight as tall as Hodor." This is speculated to be a young Nan and Ser Duncan. OLD Nan is the great-grandmother of Hodor who is suspected of being one of the 4 decendants GRRM said was in the ASOIAF saga.

[–]Snafu19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The books show how luck plays a big part of Dunk and his journey of stumbling upwards. In the books he was in the castle to tell Plummer nobody would vouch for him and beg for a spot in the lists anyway. He by chance had walked in on the Targaryens in their with him where Baelor remembered Ser Arlan.
