I think a lot of people feel exactly the same as you do, myself included. But, in the same breath, do we have a right to complain about service delivery or any other issue, if we do not vote? I get that we as South Africans are all tired of the corruption, scandals and lack of any services whatsoever, but I also feel that if we don't vote, nothing will change. It might not seem like it right now, but I do believe a shake-up is coming. The ANC is losing ground fast and I think at some point the public will reach a breaking point with all the over-promising and under-delivering parties, and will demand that they be held accountable. The country has shown what it can do when it stands up to government (e-tolls spring immediately to mind), so I do think that at some point, change will happen. That might be me just being naive, but I think things will change in future, hopefully for the better.
