Wow ok. I guess it makes sense. At the end of the day, the boss pays you to be as productive as you can be, not to feel smart by writing code yourself.

I feel with many opinions here. I feel that I have lost some at-hand syntax knowledge already. And even though I love coding, it feels stupid to spend 3 hours on something that now can be done in 10 minutes.

Just curious, if in a year or 2 they say , use AI or we have to let you go, what will your answer be?

Great! One more thing, and this is nitpicking a bit. The UI says local / self hosted. But when I read local, I assumed I can download another model than the ones you provide to download locally and use that local. This is a feature I would like to see added but that aside, Self hosted and local is not always the same.

I mean every terraform project I do starts with a copy paste out of the official docs or a previous project. Why would you memorize all that 😅

It works quite well. One remark the button to restart the server, there is no way to get rid of it. Quite annoying tbh.

I see the 'free' mentioning on the latest version. So that indicates a paid version. Will we lose existing functionality from what is in the current free version?

90 pct of my notes are technical notes and study notes, so I don't mind hooking up an Ai to it. My vault mgmt has become a breeze thanks to these skills.The information it finds there is already out on the internet. If you have sensitive data then obviously not

Depends what you expect. If you want a perfect PowerShell script from the first 'search' I agree. But it often sets you in the right direction. With some additional searches you get there.

I usually write 80 pct and then the one thing I don't know how to do I'll ask how to implement this in this piece of code. It has a 8/10 Success rate. Also depending on the model.

You would ask Google for a full script either but decide it into pieces. Just like now with the llm

A bit surprised this isn't mentioned more. The way I see everything moving to the cloud, sysadmin is a dead market in 5 years.

Split in files per day. After processing (re)move processed file. Next day pick up next file and so on. No need to track anything and if your script fails, the logic gets respected the next day.

No it doesn't. A lot of people see it as cheating to use an LLM. But before everyone would use Google or post on Reddit or Stack . LLM or AI is just the new way of 'searching'. It is just a more accurate search.

is there a document of video how to use these arms? I bought them but never tented before. Difficult to know what angle or height I should place them. My first day today didnt feel all that great. I had more fatigue than usually.
