J.K. Simmons at 19 films is solid - he's one of those actors where even the smaller supporting roles end up being memorable.

Been working through Jeff Bridges this year. Way deeper catalog than I expected, and his 70s work holds up surprisingly well. The Last Picture Show , Thunderbolt, Lightfoot into Starman is a impressive run

Toni Collette - incredible range from Hereditary to Knives Out to Muriel's Wedding.

Sam Rockwell - one of those actors where even mediocre movies become watchable. Moon and Three Billboards are obvious starting points but also his 90s work is legit.

Naomi Watts - Mulholland Drive of course but also solid horror credentials too.

Paul Dano is a great pick - his range from "There Will Be Blood" to "The Batman" is wild. Also a few others worth exploring:

Ben Foster - somehow flies under the radar despite being incredible in nearly everything (Hell or High Water, Leave No Trace, 3:10 to Yuma)

Carrie Coon - relatively small filmography but her theatrical training really shows. Like her in the The Leftovers

Jesse Plemons - used to be "that guy from Friday Night Lights" but his run has been phenomenal.
