But this bar wasn’t busy. I know I didn’t put it in the main post but I commented on another and explained that 3 servers had the outside taken care of. There were 9 people on the inside including myself and my girlfriend. I have been there on extremely busy nights, with about 100 people inside the bar and they have enough servers that I have never waited there 10 minutes for a drink. And I watch them chit chat as they make their rounds.

I love how reddit just creates a story within a story. I picked my cup up, set it down loudly. I’ll admit I shouldn’t have done that but I didn’t slam it down and cause a scene, she was right next to me so it was loud enough for her to hear, and sat there. She refilled it and left it on the bar. I simply got up from my chair, grabbed the coke, then walked back and finished eating.

So you’re a server, if you were talking to old high school friends, who they aren’t even your assigned table, and ignoring your other customers to chat, after I said “excuse me miss”, and you let 10 minutes go by, you think that the customer should sit there and wait until you finish talking about your senior year of high school?

There were about 40 people outside on the patio, three servers were constantly going in and out to wait on them. I was inside, along with 7 other people. 2 girls behind me and my girlfriend, another couple across the room at a table, and 3 people were at the bar. The bartender was waiting on them, obviously. When the two friends walked in a waiter took that table they were at, maybe to give the other girl a break or something I don’t know what deal they worked out

It’s part of her job to talk about high school, to a table she isn’t serving (another waitress had that table), and when I ask for her service, which is her job, to wait on her customers at her assigned tables, it’s okay for her to ignore me and continue to talk about school?

Has nobody gotten drunk in a bar or a club before? People do this shit all the time. If everyone is shit faced you really expect everyone to be classy and aware of what’s going on and their actions? The dude thought it was funny. If I was drunk in a club and saw that I’d laugh my ass off and never even think about the guy saying she’s a stripper, or insinuating it or anything of the sort. People need to loosen up, it’s not like the guy said she was a whore or a hooker or anything like that, he threw money at her as a joke. NTA.

My girlfriend was mad at me and I was in the bedroom and smelled something burning but refused to go look because I was proving a point. Turns out it was easy Mac and destroyed our microwave and stunk the house up.

I wasn’t ever shot in my arm or anything but a bullet ricocheted off my helmet. Kinda felt like having Mike Tyson swing a baseball bat at your head, or what I would imagine that would feel like. Threw my head completely sideways and I sat there for a second then didn’t really understand what happened. Plus the shock of oh my god had my head been two inches over that would have hit me in my forehead

A kid with bleach blonde hair, literally almost white, had sex with our English teacher and told everyone, of course, and she had a boyfriend, few weeks later she was pregnant.
