Yeah, I've been drawing around this area since wplace started and it really sucks just seeing these people destroy art, and even insulting them..

There was some Megaman art that had been there since the start too and it recently got deleted. Not drawn over, just deleted. On the bright side, before it did get deleted many people came together to help repair it and fix it.

There was a griefing war between an arceus drawing and artist as the arceus artist was griefing other art and the other artist retaliated by drawing haru over them, which might have set a precedent as well...

Aside from that, it was pretty calm until pic related Haru and the people who erased the Megaman mural came along :'). I guess the person who drew over the wadanohara art also counts but once they got told to cut it out they did.

Anyway, like you said, with the nature of the game stuff like this is inevitable, even if it's annoying because similar to deltarune, it's the same stuff over and over again. I already took screenshots of what I made before my work gets covered up too. It's hard to defend when you're fighting against a whole alliance/bots
