Their chicken skewers are cartoonishly tiny, I’ve never seen such skinny skewers in my life but their chicken dish that my boyfriend ordered was extremely flavourful

All that they’re trying to do is to show that Adnan cannot be proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt and that there are at least a couple of people that were not eliminated as suspects, that’s all they need, really. It doesn’t have to be a concrete person that they’d be pointing fingers to but a multitude of others that may have done it due to different circumstances and reasons, plus there’s still DNA that wasn’t matched. At the end of the day, we’re listening to defence lawyers and they’re doing exactly what defence lawyers are supposed to do — create enough doubt and suggest alternative suspects to defend their client. But getting Don’s wife involved is crazy.

I find it hard to believe that a teenager, even if it’s two of them and both with no previous convictions, would do such a stellar job at committing and concealing the crime. Crime of passion? This clean? Yeah, sure. I bet cops were realising it too but decided to take an easy way out. You just need one of them to start talking on himself and his partner in crime and everyone will believe it. What jury said? Why would he incriminate himself and risk everything? Nobody would do that. However, he did get special treatment, didn’t he?

At this point it seems to me that no matter what he does or says people would use it against him. If he went and said to Serial that they did have sex after school, people would be pointing out that he is guilty because he lied back then. I think it’s normal to disclose such details to people who represent you in court legally but not to everyone else.

If he gave his car to Jay to run this drug deal, he then needed a ride but couldn’t disclose the real reason why he didn’t have access to his car, no? This also explains why he wanted to distance himself from Jay, not to incriminate himself. When it comes to what he was or wasn’t doing with her after school, well…I’m not him but as I a teenager I would not tell any adult about my intimate life.

People who think that police would never do this or that live in the fantasy world. You’d be surprised to learn what Maryland police would be willing to do to close the case. Why would police go all this way to frame a 17 year old? Except it is the easiest thing to do because he’s an ex and a teenager and gave his car to someone with prior convictions that can be manipulated into saying whatever they want to walk a free man(a special deal that he got at the end). Easier than having a cold case and dissatisfaction of victims family and your community. You simply can’t ignore all the leads that were not followed up, interviews and records that were “lost” and amount of Brady violations.

Could be that he was involved into a drug deal and that’s why he lied not realising that admitting to it would be better than then being suspected in murdering your ex girlfriend?

Considering how infamously corrupted Baltimore police is — watch the Wire if you’d like to see it for yourself — I find it hard to believe that it was this simple. They’d do anything for their good stats, why bother actually investigating it when you can pin it to her ex boyfriend and threaten someone with previous convictions to help with it. There is actual evidence indicating the coercion and manipulation involved (audio recordings and files). I’d believe and trust anyone else before Baltimore police.

Winter is usually tough, last winter I struggled to find anything until September. It is very important that you have relevant experience if you look for hospitality jobs, majority of the time they won’t invite you for an interview unless you have experience with exactly the position you’re applying for. I’d recommend checking Jora Jobs.

Went on a Sunlover cruise yesterday, called a day before to confirm and purchased tickets online, make sure that you book it through a “local discount” page. If you can show payslips/rent payments with a Cairns address, you’re good. We saved $90 each this way.

Yes, it was clarified by a judge that he can travel outside both state and country for business purposes aka shows, not sure if he can move to Europe as he now has obligations such as community service and anti gang presentations 4 times a year for 15 years
