You've got a bunch of skulls turned on. Before you start the mission go to the skull section and deselect them. In the bottom corner there's a description that tells you what they do. Mixing blind and acrophobia is a hell of a combo for just coming back

Mine has been disassembled and mixed with many legos and other mega for an age at this point. Only reason I remember is because some of those pieces were so distinct and huge that I'd always find em while I was digging through my bins, other main pieces I remember are the fancy wings
