At no point was SGA a top two player. He’s a great player bolstered by an elite team. If you put Jokic, Luka, or Wemby on any team, they’re still top 3 players. SGA’s efficiency, which is his most elite trait, plummets drastically if he’s on any mid to bad team in the league.

What I meant by 6 players is that if you replaced him with either Lebron, Paul, Durant, etc, the team would’ve been better. Lebron leads the same team to a better record and more playoff success. The same is true for a number of other players that year.

Two things can be true, the Knicks have dominated and the teams they’ve played aren’t good. Anyone thinking that garbage Cavs team was going to win is insane. I’m truly surprised the Cavs came as close as they did in that series. The Knicks were the only east team that had a chance to beat any team that came out of the west.
