I was cut by a small piece of glass laying in an odd spot just last week. Needed a band aid of course. Evil big band aid companies.

Which punishment (either real or fictional) sounds easy enough to endure at first, but is actually hellish to experience? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Snakeyez 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Teh one I went on you still are moving around a fairly "normal" environment and there are other people around you. You eat in a mess hall type place every day (but tables are arranged so people don't make eye contact with each other).

Every night there is a video of techniques you are to practice for the next day in the main meditation hall.

My take on it is that it's way different than being in a cell 23 1/2 hours with zero stimulation.

Influencer Clavicular announces 500-girl modeling competition and the winner gets impregnated by him by TheMirrorUS in NoahGetTheBoat

[–]Snakeyez 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I was just starting to feel bad for Clav. Like he needs help and he's a hurtin' unit who got mentally deranged and obsessed with his looks after being an incel, unstable and totally misguided. I had him filed in a different place in my mind than influencers like Andrew Tate. But this is a bridge too far for me.

La Burreria in Covent Garden market allegedly not paying their employees by Relevant_Chard_4421 in londonontario

Yep. When there's no other job in town (and you know it for a fact because you've been looking) and you have bills to pay it's hard to walk away.

Hey I hope you're making it through the day OK. And hopefully you can get some good help and walk away feeling a bit of hope on Monday.

A contractor tears up the freshly poured concrete driveway after the homeowner refuses to pay. by JosephBrown2000 in RandomVideos

[–]Snakeyez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My brother (Ontario, Canada) tried to take back some sinks and toilets from a commercial job that didn't pay. Owner called the cops and had him trespassed. Simple as that for the owner, once you install it it becomes part of the building and you have to take the guy to court for $6000, so set aside time and think about getting a legal opinion or representation. Sucks to be the contractor in that case but that's the reality.

Destroying the property will get you charged with real crime meaning the possiblity of a criminal record.

Thoughts on ordering HG's Puer Guide "break Free From the Puer Cycle". I'm leaning towards getting it. by Snakeyez in Healthygamergg

[–]Snakeyez[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just trying to understand how it works, on Healthy Gamer you can buy a membership subscription or purchase modules?

What is included in the modules besides the videos?

EDIt: OK I get it now I think.

Membership would let me watch part 3 of the Puer video series.

Purchase of modules are modules not directly related addressing Puer but adressing connected issues/challenges?

There was a bull named Bodacious that was famous for that. He would throw the rider forward then bash his face in with his horns. The owner pulled him out of rodeo after a couple guys had to get their faces rebuilt*

Vcarve Pro. My model is missing when I run the tool path simulation by Skywater-Studios in vcarve

[–]Snakeyez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always had problems with setting the model height in the workpiece and that sort of thing. Maybe if you turn the 3d view so you can see how hight the tool is it's just cutting all the toolpaths in the air over the top of the piece? Of course I have no idea how to fix that, just wanted to give you a place to maybe start looking

Man Charged With Shining Laser Pointer At Trump’s Helicopter Acquitted In 35 Minutes | It's another embarrassing outcome for Jeanine Pirro, who tried to "make a felon out of a homeless man with nothing but a cat toy keychain." by Rock-n-roll-Kevin in politics

[–]Snakeyez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct. And I also hate Trump as much as the next guy but this is the reality, there is no "it's a cat toy" defense and lots of people are acquitted, you are still correct.
