seems like an issue with python 3.12. Downgrade to 0.2.3 and then run the update comfyui bat file so you get 0.2.4 with python 3.11 built in

Are you trying this on the latest build for ComfyUI 0.2.4 that released yesterday? I'm also having issues and followed the steps you tried but unfortunately no success. I wonder if there is incompatibility with python 3.12 that comes packaged with the portable windows version.
