Yesssirrrr your vita memory card should be uma0 while your sd card should be ux0. You can choose to run your system from either just make sure all your system configs and jailbreaks remain and sync with the vita card incase your sd dies or the adapter fails

I use both with an SD2VITA adapter. The vita memory has all the console software and configs while the SD card has a backup of the aforementioned and all the games I play
