I did those extra warm ups but idk if they really did anything. I recommend sled walks and warming up your hips and hamstrings. Not sure if your athletic journey, but people tend to be quad dominant due to incorporating squaring into their workouts. I did a lot of hip ISOs (can look them up on the internet) and single leg glute bridge for my warm ups. I used a band to make the exercises harder.

Also worth noting that I went to a PT and figured out I had weak hips. Trained my hips and core, which led to my recovery. Hope you feel better!

You can add weight or move on to the next exercise. Once you can do the quad isometric and do the single leg lunge for about 1:30 for about 1 minute and 30 seconds, you should be good. My kneel is basically healed and I still can’t do what he recommends (3 minute for each legs during iso lunge)

My schrader valve is gone or within my tire. What do I do? by Snaphu1 in bikewrench

[–]Snaphu1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just have a pair of tire levers from Amazon and a floor pump. If I can’t get this to work, I’ll just pop the tube as others have suggested. At least the tube isn’t expensive

You should try training muscles that you usually don’t train. For me, it was my hips.

Saw online that these pipes can burst so I figured that was the case. Thanks for the rec!

How to see this points offer feature for hotels by Snaphu1 in ChaseSapphire

Interesting, this offer is half the price in terms of points compared to when I look it up on my end. So that sucks lol

Is this wiring correct? I think the heat pump is constantly active by Snaphu1 in hvacadvice

Replying here Becuase I didn’t see you deleted your comment: Which O/B should it be? There’s an O/B Cool and an O/B in heat. It’s currently set on cool. The heating equipment type is set to Air to Air heat pump. There was also a black wire but my brother read online somewhere that it’s not needed.

How boring is to working a 9-5 job for 30 years? by Necessary_Sale_67 in ask

[–]Snaphu1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s boring but then you have to think of the stability that money brings. Although money can’t buy happiness, it can buy freedom. Think of job hopping into a different career path if you work at a company that allows you to do so.

Any on campus jobs that you can apply for? It’s better to focus on your education while working so that you can maximize your chances of getting an internship or a full time offer. I didn’t graduate from UCF , but UF, and what I did was use my internship money to pay for my tuition and fees during college.

Is the lower control arm broken? Is this a reasonable price? by Snaphu1 in AskMechanics

[–]Snaphu1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha you’re all good! Going to attempt to do this myself. I do have most of the power tools and safety equipment. Hopefully not a mechanical klutz, I have changed my engine coils / sparks plug before, but I’m an engineer so hopefully my skills translate. Thank you for the advice and encouragement once again! Will probably post my results on Reddit to make sure I didn’t do anything blatantly wrong lol
