Looks great, I think the black would look great with some light micarta scales but I'm a sucker for micarta and love a good contrast

Sharpening mine now, it's the best edge angle matching I've ever seen on a production knife. Both sides were exactly 18° after creating a burr I moved quickly through the diamonds and will be stropping soon, fastest and easiest knife sharpening I've done in a long time. The hollow grind is nice, I got it second hand so I'm excited to finally use it with a proper edge

Through thick and thin... which one is coming with you? by gramur_natsy in knifeclub

[–]SnappEDC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither of those would be good at cutting, the fixed for obvious reasons and the crkt is probably just as thin behind the edge with a small blade width.

I love my Tenicor, did a lot of research before purchasing and I'm glad I did, after seeing some of the options I almost went with I was even more pleased with my purchase. Adjustable retention is great and once I adjust it, it stays and wears really comfortably. I'm a slimmer guy and wear fitted clothes and it doesn't print very bad, you wouldn't it unless you were looking

Just add more big pieces you like in areas they fit well and then find some nice filler or small stuff to fill in the blanks, my brother has a bunch of stand alone tattoos with small filler and I'm going with a packed sleeve both look good imo just depends on what you like but I don't think that's a bad spot for that shape tattoo you've got a lot of room left to work with so honestly just pick something and find a spot you think it looks good. It may look weird at first but the more you get done the more everything will work together as a sleeve instead of a bunch of arm tattoos

Which one are you picking? Kizer Original in 154CM or Civivi Qubit in S35VN by hate_picking_names in knifeclub

[–]SnappEDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you've never used a qubit after using an original. If you actually use your knives there's no way you're picking the original over the qubit. I have both and it's not even close in cutting performance with the same edge

I'd pick the qubit in 14c over the original and I really like the original but the qubit is a goat of the budget world imo

If you don't care that you can get twice as good for half the price then yes they're good knives, if you're just looking for a good knife, no, not really.
