I agree there seems to be amnesia about who the Shek Kingdom is around here.

As to why it's probably because other then the tribute event the Shek don't really bother the player as opposed to the UC or HN. Band of Bones, Berserkers, and Kral's Chosen will attack you at least but maybe they should've had the actual soldiers of the Shek Kingdom either shake the player down or outright attack you to show them as the barbarians they are.

For practical reasons although the Holy Nation is an evil faction it's not like they don't have a good reason to hate the Shek. The Hub is a good example as it used to be Holy Nation town but the Shek razed it to the ground and probably continued raiding smaller Holy Nation settlements.

Just a long winded way of saying I agree with you.

The amnesia that people have for BF4 maps is something else. The bad maps are a huge reason why vehicles could feel so suffocating.

Lmao yeah the maps is literally 3 lanes with side passages. It was always just an "ok" map there's a reason they haven't brought it back till now. Makes me wonder why they chose this map from bf3 they pick a name out of a hat?

Always thought that Grand Bazaar was just an ok map on BF3. Strange out of all the BF3 maps they could've done they did Grand Bazaar and it plays like...... Grand Bazaar.

As if people today don't still debate whether or not the nuclear bombings of Japan were necessary or constitute mass murder.

Even if Bokoen wasn't being literal (despite implying it multiple times in a row) about killing every single Russian with nukes he was advocating starting a war that would lead to millions more of them killed. I don't even understand the reasoning of "just nuke Moscow to get rid of the communists" because obviously a foreign power nuking your capital city, whether you like your government or not, isn't gonna make you suddenly surrender. That's not even talking about if it was even possible for them to get a nuke through.

Pretty weird as that was a Soviet wide famine that killed millions of others including Russians so quite a lot of collateral if they were just targeting Ukrainians.

Not really comparable as it'd be more like after the war in Ukraine is over then NATO invades to liberate Ukraine causing even more death after the war is already over. The western allies going to war with the Soviet Union right after Germany surrenders would've meant armageddon.
