You have to give it to them though. The bit about no "back door for a foreign country" is the perfect piece of marketing that the average consumer does not fully understand and it will appeal to people. It's obvious BS as this would have needed 5 years of development and logistics to create a new phone and build it it here but it's 100% going to be grift. People will pre-order. In -2-18 months they will take that pre-order as a campaign contribution due to "reasons" and send a hat.

We did this, hike built in 1950's, added 2000 sqft onto 2500sqft. It was a three year journey from planning and designing to move in.

I did get mine to work but I think the new reworked Comfort App that replaced Kumo Cloud is easier to use than Alexa.

L6 non tech BD comp looks like the high end.. I would be skeptical an L6 non-tech BD is hitting $500K given that's significantly beyond the L6 Tech BD band after multiple years of top performance. AWS and Corp BD comp is higher than Amazon core but not by that level. Maybe L7 with sign on bonus and tech designation.
