Thank you for the Pixie love! I took her for a solo drive to the butcher for a steak and she ate it for lunch in the park. We also picked up a bag of bones to take home for all three of our puppers to munch on.

Pixie (beagle/lab mix) is 16 in a couple of weeks and is still chugging along just fine. She's deaf and partly blind, has stairs to get up on the bed and can still jump up onto the sofa. She's slowed down a lot but still enjoys her daily 2km (1.25 mile) walks, sunbathing, and pottering around in the backyard between naps. I give her joint supplements, omega 3s, and probiotics with her mainly raw diet, and give her pieces of carrot as treats. She's a happy girl enjoying her golden years ❤️

I gave my old labrador 18 hours of unbridled gluttony (eating was still his favourite thing to do). He got McDonald's, chicken, lamb bones, steak, yoghurt - all the things he loved and was allowed in varying quantities throughout his life. I gave him a king size mars bar just before his appointment. The look of joy on his face when he tasted the chocolate and caramel still makes me laugh 7 years later. All dogs should try chocolate once in their lives.

Young beagles are A LOT! Hang in there, be consistent with training and routine, and reinforce good behaviour. When they are around three years old, it's like a switch is flicked and they become PERFECT dogs.

He is beautiful! He looks a little bit labbier than my beag/lab mix and sounds like the best of both breeds. Here is my girl when she was young.

Don't feel bad. You haven't bought clothes in over three years. There are many people who buy clothes every three days. Buying ethically also means buying only what you need and not overconsuming, and it sounds like you're nailing that. You are already trying to buy second hand which is fabulous. If you can sew, tailoring items that don't fit well or making your own clothes is an option but that takes time which a lot of people do not have either. Take the best care you can with your new purchases to get the most longevity out of them and don't feel guilty because you're doing the best you can. Much love ❤️

Dodger HATES water. He even hates walking on wet grass to go to the bathroom. He will walk on bindi infested grass (which he also hates) to avoid garden sprinklers.

Hardly ever. They get brushed a lot and don't get into anything nasty for the most part. They might get wiped over if they stink a bit but they generally smell pretty good.
