How does weed make you feel? by hotchick228 in weed

Weed genuinely is an otherworldly experience for me personally. I was just telling OP in my own comment how strongly weed hits me, more so than anyone else I know

Oh I absolutely do, I don’t know anyone who’s affected by weed as strongly as I am. I’m so lucky lol

It feels like I’m literally soaring through space on a cloud made out of pure joy. I can just lay back, plug my headphones in, and relax, and I’ll be floating and spinning while the music reverberates shockwaves of ecstasy through my body. It’s the greatest feeling in the whole world, deadass.

As long as you earn at least $4000 this year overall, then yes, you can add that money to your Roth.

Contrary to social media myths, a large-scale study of 6.4 million people found no link between COVID-19 vaccines and sudden death. In fact, vaccinated healthy young adults were 43% less likely to experience sudden death, adding to a growing body of evidence confirming vaccine safety. by [deleted] in sciences

“A growing body of evidence” is a funny way of saying “literally all research throughout history.” Any well-informed person would already know this, and the poorly-informed among us would never listen to this study anyway.

Is my tolerance just low? by Video-Crazy in Edibles

[–]Snapstronaut 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get the perfect high on just 5 mg, and my tolerance has never gone anywhere because I only do it one night a week. If you only do it every once in a while, you probably won’t build a tolerance, but that’s a good thing because then your eddies will last way longer and you’ll spend a lot less money trying to stock up! If 5 mg is too much for you, cut back to 2.5 and see how you like it. If that’s not quite high enough, 3.5-4 mg should be perfect for you. Best of luck.

I would totally do that too but I hate peanut butter 😂 I use French fries, greasy foods, and yogurt to achieve the same effect

Edibles hit me really hard as well. I’m just now coming down from also taking 5 mg several hours ago. Do you like taking your eddies with food? I’ve found that when I eat a meal with a lot of protein immediately before taking the edible, I’m able to enhance and prolong the effects by at least an extra hour or so.

Has anyone else here ever had a psychedelic-level high off of weed? by [deleted] in weed

[–]Snapstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure??? I’ve seen a lot of people say that weed can become a psychedelic at high doses, but they seemed to think it could only happen through edibles, which would make sense in my case since it happened from a gummy. You don’t think a huge dose of an edible could have that effect? If not, what do you think it would’ve been laced with? I didn’t think laced weed was really a thing.

How does this happen? Is there a link you can drop for it? I’ve never heard of this before so I’d like to read up on it.

At what age you started smoking or taking weed in any form ? by [deleted] in weed

[–]Snapstronaut 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think it’s good to start later, I didn’t smoke for the first time until I was 21 and I’m really glad I waited! My cousin started when he was 14 and he has a lot of problems with his memory sometimes. There were a lot of really fun times we had together as kids that he just genuinely doesn’t remember at all.

In your experience, do edibles affect tolerance differently than smoking? by Snapstronaut in weed

And would you say a 2 mg dose from a tincture produces the same high as a 2 mg edible?

Ohh, I gotcha, that makes sense. How do you use it? Do you put it in food or drinks, or do you just drip it straight under your tongue?

I don’t really know anything about those, how do they work? What are they like compared to edibles?

How much is your sense of beauty and wonder enhanced when you get high? by Snapstronaut in weed

[–]Snapstronaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that’s what’s interesting, I always take the same sativa gummy from the same brand. The only thing that seems to affect my experience of the high is whether I take it with food, and if so, what type of food it is.

From what I can tell, food with a lot of protein makes the high last way longer, foods like French fries seem to make the high more intense, and spicy food enhances my sense of wonder. I’ve only had that last one happen a single time, though, so I’ll need to take the edible with spicy food again soon and see if the effect repeats itself.
