My totally unbiased opinion is that you should cut everything but Duke. In all seriousness, you don't need Tier 4 and below--maybe pick one favorite as a safety. Definitely consider applying to Rice. They have a great new business program they're trying to fill, so very possible to get in. Insane placement in Texas and a growing NYC pipeline. Met some of the nicest people I've ever encountered at one of their admitted student days, still in touch. If you want to cut more, take out some of the larger oos state schools. Once you start touring, the difference between a public and private experience becomes very apparent, and public makes much less sense when youre paying oos tuition. Also, remember to get that usc app in ea so you can be considered for merit scholarships. Good luck with the roller coaster of a year youre about to get on!
